Coshcast S9E5: Two prodigal sons, two goals each

Romelu Lukaku returns home to Stamford Bridge, the crowd chants his name all day and he shows his appreciation by scoring two goals...and so did Cristiano Ronaldo. Saul has a forgettable debut while Bruno Fernandes doesn't want United fans to forget about him. City are a bit boring which isn't a good sign for the rest of the league. Mane fluffs his lines repeatedly as he tries to bring back the glory days of his goalscoring form as well as his hairline. While he struggles, Mohamed Salah joined the 100 club as the race for the golden boot officially heats up. Tanganga has a case of the red mist and then some, wow!

The pod then strays into strange territory like Ted Lasso and positive Arsenal talk (just kidding) but all in all as always, there's a lot of laughs, banter and this is one you must listen to. As always, enjoy!

Coshcast S8E36: Allison's leap of faith saves Liverpool

Not Mane, not Salah (though he scored earlier), not Firmino, not Jota and most definitely not Thiago. It was Allison who saved the day for Liverpool and put top 4 in mersey hands.

Brendan Rodgers reaches the promised land (in England at least) by winning the FA Cup over Tommy Tuchel's Kepa flapping Chelsea.

Premier League champions Man City enjoy a wild Torres fueled win over a resurgent Newcastle and Everton return to mediocrity is confirmed by defeat to Sheffield United reserves.

Elsewhere La Liga went back and forth like a see saw with Suarez saving Atleti's title push. Lille couldn't close out Ligue 1 and have one more chance to put PSG and Poch in the mud. Serie A had some serious Calciopolli vibes as Juve squeaked out a vital win over Inter while Milan faltered and are now in jeopardy.

Coshcast S6E18: Solskjaer so good & Nasri returns

Manchester United beat Spurs and it's all good so far for Solskjaer with De Gea so sharp. At the London Stadium Nasri cut open Arsenal at one end and Fabianski kept them out at the other while wins for Liverpool and Chelsea kept the Reds ahead at the top, and the Blues in the Champions League spots.

We'll also have the regular features and a dive into the rumour mill where Fernando Llorente is being linked with Barcelona, and equally plausibly, I'm being linked with the US presidency.

Elsewhere, at Anfield Lukaku tried to do Liverpool fans a favour by injuring Dejan Lovren, Hodgson has his Zaha! moment and Troy Deeney describes Arsenal as having no cojones, although for Cleverly's goal a few of them did look like training cojones, so the jury is out on that.

Finally we'll smash through Europe like the Romans, who, conversely this week lost to Napoli, Dybala looks increasingly like a Grand and Toy order as he misses two pens in a row, and a bunch of stuff happens in Spain that doesn't involve police violence. Lovely.

Coming up, I'm going to read you a few of our latest articles, in case you don't like reading, and there may be a couple of other bits and pieces. Honestly, I'm not sure. At the Emirates Arsenal sort of proved that Xhaka can sort of shoot while getting the first victory over the Dark Lord since Gollum fell into the fires of Mount Doom.

Elsewhere this time it's not lasagna that makes Spurs sick but there is ham involved, and on Monday Matic scratches Middlesbrough out of the league.

There's also La Liga chat as Real Madrid leave Tony Adams with Granada to show for his efforts and in Italy Juve fail to Higuaind things up, other than Mihajlovic, of course.
