The Pediatric Liver Transplant Program at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital is the first and largest program in the state. Kara Gavin, who plays French horn with the LSO and serves on the committee that runs it, talks about the orchestra's history, who plays in it, and what audience members will hear at the concert.

All are welcome to attend the concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be preceded by a short lecture by music director Nicholas Bromilow at 6:45 p.m. where audience members can learn more about the music they're about to hear.

Hoop Dreams: Meet the Michigan Rollverines

In mid-January, the Michigan Rollverines – the organization’s youth wheelchair basketball program – traveled to Fort Wayne, Indiana for its first competitive tournament since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was a success – as has been the entire program, which is run by the U-M Adaptive and Inclusive Sports Experience, or UMAISE. Now, the Rollverines are looking to expand and give even more kids the opportunity to experience competitive sports.
