Although published now, in March 2024, it was in fact recorded almost exactly a year ago. An incredibly busy year followed during which I established and developed my own motorsport consultancy. That went well, but our lovely Racing Lives podcast suffered. While I very much plan to continue recording new series of this awesome podcast, I couldn’t go ahead and not share the few episodes I already have - I owe it to the wonderful women who gave up their time to chat so candidly with me. So my biggest most heartfelt apologies to my guests for being so damn tardy, and a huge thank you to the fans of this podcast for waiting so long!

Check out Lindsay online:

LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/lindsayorridge

Website: themotorsportcollective.com

You can contact me via @Pandea on Instagram

You can support the podcast via supporter.acast.com/racinglives

Sign up for the (seriously fun) Racing Lives newsletter at racinglives.substack.com

Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/racinglives.

Hosted on Acast.

We are back for a second season!

I have an amazing guest this week to celebrate the return of Racing Lives, the incredible Claire Williams. Claire was Deputy Team Principal of Williams Racing, the Formula 1 Team founded by her father Frank Williams, until last September 2020 and has had an amazing career in the sport covering PR, Marketing and Commercial before taking on the running of the team. To me, she embodies what working in F1 means: passion, a tremendous work ethic, a legendary fighting spirit and a huge heart. In this episode, we discuss Claire's earliest memories of motorsport, what it's really like to run a Formula 1 Team, the highs, the lows and everything in between.

You can contact me via @Pandea on Instagram.

You can support the podcast via supporter.acast.com/racinglives.

Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/racinglives.

Hosted on Acast.

This week's episode welcomes the wonderfully brilliant Amy Shore. Amy has a photo collection featuring some of the most iconic cars ever made. What’s most special about this photo collection however, is that she took every single one. She is indeed a photographer, and a bloody good one at that.

She has carved a career from showcasing beautiful machinery, while passionately finding brilliant stories about their owners or drivers. She is able to capture the essence of both human and object, and it comes across in every single one of her photographs.

She is someone whose work I have admired for a very long time and we finally got the chance to collaborate at the end of last year after months of talking about it. We had a great time, thankfully so did our models (!), and the work produced was simply beautiful. You can find it everywhere on Instagram if you look up the team I work for.

Check out Amy online:

Instagram: @AmyShorePhotography

Her official website: amyshorephotography.com

Her print shop: amy-shore-photography.myshopify.com

You can contact me via @Pandea on Instagram.

You can support the podcast via supporter.acast.com/racinglives.

Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/racinglives.

Hosted on Acast.

Welcome to the very first episode of Racing Lives! Unsurprisingly for a new show, I've turned to my friends for help with guests and they have all been incredibly supportive. Tabatha Valls Halling is first up, and in this week's episode we chat through how she got started in motorsport, valuable lessons she's learnt along the way, and the advice she still uses to this day.

Tabatha began her motorsport journey in a very public way, as one of Bridgestone’s e-reporters in 2008, and has gone from strength to strength ever since. With stints working with agencies, Formula 1 and Endurances teams, as well as drivers, she’s collected a wealth of experience throughout the sport before cleverly identifying a gap in the market and launching her very own production house, Press Play Productions, specialising in social media content.

In just two years, she has grown her client list and her services to cover a wealth of ideas and content creation, and it’s been a pleasure to watch her succeed.

I have had the rare privilege of witnessing her career blossom every step of the way, from debuting reporter back in 2008 to fully-fledged entrepreneur in 2020.

Check out Tabatha (and her hedgehog!) on social media:

Twitter: @Tabathavalls | @PressPlayItNow

Instagram: @Tabathavalls | @pressplayproductionsppp | @piedethehedgehog

You can contact me via @Pandea on Instagram.

You can support the podcast via supporter.acast.com/racinglives.

Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/racinglives.

Hosted on Acast.
