This time, I'll be talking about the point of view of an incarcerated criminal, the national and international obsession with True Crime and how addictive it all becomes.

I bookend it with cursory reviews of both Nosferatu and Frankenstein and a few of my own stories of real life blood curdling evil.

There is a lot of information, misinformation, disinformation, and scams going on and around the current and projected statre of AI,from ghost job scams to false promises made by wildly successful enterpise entrepreneurs, to job losses directly attributed to AI implementation, to wildly contradictory predictions made my AI prognosticators, industry veterans, retired tech bros and the exasperated, burnt out, overstretched, over stressed current workforce, to job seekers trying to, in many cases fruitlessly, figure out how to maintain relevance and integrate AI into their work lives.

Sharon G. Flake is a celebrated author with multiple honors, including two Coretta Scott King Honor Awards and author of THE FAMILY I’M IN, the third installment in the I’m In series, following her groundbreaking debut The Skin I’m In (2000) and sister novel The Life I’m In (2021).

The Family I’m In explores the complex relationship between Black boys and their fathers, highlighting the challenges they face while growing up and defining what it means to be a man amidst societal pressures. John-John and Caleb, childhood friends, navigate common struggles like family illness, divorced parents, school, and crushes, while dealing with their labels as “nice boys”. Sharon wrote this novel in honor of all the young Black boys who wish to feel seen and heard.

I spoke with Sharon about her life, her understanding of YA mindsets, work and her influences.

This time, I’ll be talking about the evolution of Memes, Gen Z Jargon, Gen A Jargon, a brief touch on the frequently off-putting evolution of Emojis, a few standout, irksome LinkedIn codewords in current use among other things, including intentionally mean spirited, contradictory, intergenerational, drastically different connotations of ordinary & usual vocabulary, and the cultural danger of using emojis in business communications.

You might regret the reputation of unknowingly employing "Coworker-core" but don't be Beta or a Doomer Chud who convinces themselves that they are a Glazeworthy Giga Chad.

There is a noticeable bent towards misogyny, casual cruelty and crude sexual innuendo.

If you are not part of these generations, avoid attempting to use the slang. You may believe that you are Based, but will not be giving Aura.

In this Episode of Two Zero Q – 20 Questions With Interesting People, we learn the 'Origin Story' of Jeff Comerchero and his co-author E.J. Radford.

Long time former Mayor and City Council Member Jeff Comerchero and his co-author E.J. Radford have written a new dual memoir detailing not only their lives, but the unique circumstances that led to a friendship that never should have happened.

Comerchero is a 77-year-old life-long Republican, far to the right on most political, cultural, and social issues.

In stark contrast, Radford is a 26-year-old barber with tattoos over most of their body, including a huge moth covering their neck, body piercings everywhere, and nose rings.

Radford identifies as Trans-Masc, using the pronouns they/he, and is as far to the left as Comerchero is to the right.

Through a quirk of fate, the former mayor found himself in E.J.’s barber chair. Although it was uncomfortable for both, the haircut was stellar, so Comerchero went back, and Radford would soon become his regular barber. 

After several appointments, a very unlikely friendship began to grow, and both gradually started to see their biases fade into the background. The result was that a most unusual, but beautiful friendship developed.

Hugo and I engaged in an animated, lively discussion with topics ranging from Eastern Europe to growing up gay to Hugo's brilliant book about his subject, Mr. George Lucas.

Mr. Lucas led a double life. A mild-mannered civil servant by day, by night he was a fixture of London’s colorful underground gay scene – a twilight world of petty crime, louche pubs and public toilets.

Hugo is quite the intrepid reporter, raconteur and has lived a robust life of risk taking while encouraging others to do the same on their journey.

Born and raised in small-town North Carolina, Tate's journey winds through poverty, addiction, a complex relationship with his biological father, and the constant effort to hide his identity. His story is one of survival and resilience, told against the backdrop of a society often indifferent and frequently outright hostile. His triumph lies in overcoming his traumas, embracing his truth, and inspiring others to do the same.

The word “No’ can have many values including being a ’positive’ in negotiation, a benefit to your mental health, a successful means of providing clarity and prioritization, guidance on what needs to be overcome to move forward and to provide control and protection.

There are numerous other reasons why ‘No’ is a positive aspect of our lives.

We can learn a lot from being told ‘No’ and make progress in our own lives by saying ‘No'

The empirical study of wisdom is a relatively recent phenomena and is mostly drawn from Europe and North America.

While there is no universal formula for wisdom and there are many conflicting opinions about how we gain wisdom, merely experiencing life and/or adversity are not indicators of wisdom.

We should all learn to be wiser, the sooner the better. Wisdom is beneficial to cope with loneliness as we age and our wellbeing as we age depends on wisdom to large degree and we can be more receptive to acquiring wisdom throughout life if we possess a sense of humor, show empathy towards others, transcend the ‘self’ when we can, continuously learn throughout our lives, keep our thinking fluid and reflect on our experiences.

Many of us like to toss around terms like physiology or metabolism and metabolic functions to sound like an intellectual authority but we likely don’t really understand them and those of us who are fortunate enough to have a positive sense of wellbeing don’t grasp the impact on the wellbeing of diminished or impaired bodily functions on our disposition and cognitive abilities, including the ability to comprehend and retain knowledge and short term memory, as I reported in 2ZQHT75 Da Chronic Pain.

Homeostasis is a term that gets used in science fiction as a trope along with ‘life support’ and is rarely ever applied correctly but it makes dorks and sci fans ears perk up. They know that means something grossly and graphically disturbing is going to happen very soon.

Andreena is an out and proud Black working-class Lesbian Inspirational Speaker & Poet.

She writes and performs poetry to come to terms with and speak out about her personal experiences with homelessness, mental health, childhood sexual abuse & the many other challenges she has faced in her life. By speaking her truth, she hopes to inspire and empower others.

In January 2015 Andreena founded Poetry LGBT Open Mic Night. Poetry LGBT is a warm and welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community to come together to share their experiences & creativity through poetry and spoken word. 

Andreena recently started Adult Survivors Open Mic for survivors of abuse to share their story through poetry.

Andreena delivers writing workshops online and in person, and has performed her poetry at various community-led events, Labour Party events and for Local Authorities such as London Borough Hackney during LGBT History Month, the Greater London Authority and at International Women’s Day events; and has had her work published in the anthology Sista! (Team Angelica, 2018). Her debut poetry collection CHARRED has also been published by Team Angelica October 2020.

In 2018 She was one of Stonewall’s Black History Month role models. In 2020 she has been shortlisted for a Positive LGBT Role Model National Diversity Award.

John is the author of the short-story collection, Dreams and Dull Realities and the novel, The World and playwright of dramas including In the Wilderness and Boann and the Well of Wisdom.  His new novel, Worlds, was published by Boann Books and Media LLC in May 2020.  Worlds was a finalist in the 2018 William Faulkner – William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition and the 2002 New Century Writers’ Awards.  John’s fiction has appeared in The Medulla Review, Danse Macabre, and The Irish Echo.  His poems have appeared in such journals as the North American Review, the Grey Sparrow Journal, and The Razor’s Wine.  His play, Sons of Molly Maguire, was produced in Dublin’s Liberty Hall in May 2017.  John was the Treasurer and Salon Producer for Irish American Writers and Artists for 7 years.  He has a Masters Degree in Irish Literature from the Catholic University of America.

Producer, Writer, and actor Patrick Ladonis, is a multi-hyphenate and is the creator of the digital series, SCALES. The series centers around Remy Howard, who is drawn to complicated people and relationships. Remy is the series protagonist who’s surrounded by people who are searching for love even when it’s not the best for them. SCALES quickly became a digital series hit as it has almost reached 100,000 views and already has over 1,100 subscribers. The series has been licensed to two major platforms, The ON Channel which is led by Emmy Nominated Actor, Brian J White. Revry is the largest LGBTQ streaming platform that is available in over 200 million homes. The streaming platform has projects from Whoopi Goldberg, and Laura Linney. SCALES will arrive on Revry next month. SCALES season 3 is already in production and will premiere later this year. 

Patrick first began entered into the entertainment arena in 1996, when he was cast in the film A Time to Kill, alongside Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson, and Matthew McConaughey. Along with his film debut in A Time to Kill, he was also featured in 48 Hours with Dan Rather as well as being featured and interviewed on the Leeza Show, in 1998. 

In 2018, Patrick launched his own production company, iamPLS Productions.
