They talk about why we must insist on being precise with framing the Palestinian Cause within the context of colonialism, how antisemitism is often misunderstood and why even though it is a struggle, we need to not allow fear to defeat our spirit. In the process, Ileana grapples with her unconscious internalisation of the common Imperialist attitude that we in the West can determine what is the “right” way for Palestinians to fight back.

We discuss the evocative soundscapes of the rainforest, the concept of Indigenous peoples as the “Guardian of Nature” and how our future is inextricably linked to the acceptance as Indigenous leader, Sonia Guajajara, puts it, that “We are nature”.

Thiago Jesus is a London-based Brazilian creative producer, curator and researcher. He works as Senior Project Manager at People's Palace Projects and leads the Indigenous Exchange and Climate Action programme. Thiago is a Royal Society of Arts fellow, holds a Master's Degree in Visual Culture from the University of Westminster and is currently a PhD Drama candidate at Queen Mary University of London with a London Arts and Humanities Partnership (LAHP) Research Studentship.

He is currently researching how to utilize couples therapy and trauma center trauma sensitive yoga for partners to treat complex trauma for one or all individuals in the relationship and to top it all off he is also a certified sex coach.
