Ian recounts his experience working at Birmingham City Football Club from 2007 to 2022. He started as a commercial sales executive and worked his way up to commercial director and eventually managing director. Ian describes loving his time at the club, which he had been a season ticket holder for 15 years prior to working there. He got the job after initially not being selected, but was called back for a similar role a few weeks later. Ian mentions some of the managers he worked under, including Steve Bruce and Alex McLeish, who led the team to win the League Cup.
