He started to experiment with music at age 14 and was inspired by the Music of Porter Robinson. One to uphold the Speed Garage proficy ... by listening to his divine knowledge buried deep within, the key to the unlocking was set in the vibrations & bump of one rare beat. This beautiful saturday we have MULO from Oslo 🇳🇴 who is based DJ originally from Nantes, 🇫🇷. He grew up listening to different musical genres, from Reggae to Post Rock, but has always been especially fascinated by the rhythms in African music. His interest in electronic music started when he discovered the Chemical Brothers album “Come with Us” and was strengthened through visits of numerous clubs and festivals around Europe. But it was after discovering artists such as Moblack, Hyenah, Mr Raoul K or Djuma Soundsystem, that he realised that it was possible to combine his passion for deep house and his love for African rhythms. In 2016, he bought his first equipment and started mixing at home and soon after in different clubs around Oslo. Today, MULO distils a clever mix of Afro House and Deep House tinted with sparkles of percussions and musical elements from different cultures. Omar’s sets are all about versatility, by virtue of music, he shares passion and pleasure trying to connect with people through his sets. First summer weekend we inviting you to listen to exclusive Bazeja podcast, who was raised in a family where all members played an instrument. So, he started to play the drums at the age of 8. After 5 years of playing the drums Bazeja’s interest in the digital era was ignited because his uncle gave him his first mix-panel. From that point on the first DJ sets and DAW’s were acquired to channel his creativity. During his teenage years he used to organize events with a buddy at different clubs in the Netherlands, named ‘Go Nuts’. Next to his own ‘Go Nuts’ events, he played on other events in different clubs and bars. At some point, he realized that performing and creating music was at the core of his soul, so he quit organizing the events and focused on the performance and production of music. After finishing his bachelor degree, he decided to pack his bags and move to Berlin in order to focus on his passion for the music. He mainly creates electronica, experimental, house, disco. Marijus is working on his projects: Ten Walls, Mario Basanov and newly born Hindemit.As a Ten Walls he released his debut EP "Gotham" back in May 2013 through “Innervisions”. It was followed by "Requiem" in December of the same year through Italian electronic music label “Life And Death”. In September 2014 Marijus smashed the release of "Walking with Elephants" which made to the tops of UK Singles Chart. Following year in 2015 he released a single named "Sparta". In 2016 Marijus created a company named “Runemark” and released another big hit “Italo”. Ten Walls worked on multiple projects, remixes, collaborations etc. Year 2017 – Ten Walls released a double album “Queen”. In 2020 Marijus released an album “Lights For The Dreams” for his Ten Walls project. Ten Walls recently at the end of 2020 released an EP “U Turn” through the label “Click Records”. Marijus’ dream came true. Ten Walls made a collaboration with Lithuanian Symphony Orchestra. The project named “Symphony” gathered his fans across Lithuania to hear his own music performed by the orchestra. There will be more surprises regarding this project very soon.One of the most interesting experiences that Marijus had during the pandemic was to create music for the videogame Moonray. He began to take a liking for electronic music in 2007, but it wasn't until the end of 2010, when he really started making music his life. Lover of the underground and tech style more underground, he begins to make raves in the south of Tenerife, where he gradually makes a name. In the summer of 2012, despite having no experience he takes his first steps inside the cabins of The locals in the south of the island, after obtaining their first residence at the xitio disco, arrived at Arches lounge cafe where they had the opportunity to share a cabin with dj's in the Canary landscape. Participant in several events in Tenerife such as the magma meeting festival, in August 2012 he managed to click outside Tenerife, in Cancun (Mexico), specifically in Mamitas Beach Club where he received great acceptance. This same year he acquired his third residence at Papagayo Beach Club, where he is still in charge of the Sunset. As a DJ, Flucamin brings his heart, emotion & energy in his set to tell the story he sees occurring on the dancefloor and let it evolve into a wonderful journey.He started DJ-ing in the pre digital age of electronic dance music so he grew up with Vinyl. In the 90’s at the age of 19 he played at several clubs and events in the Netherlands alongside artists who’ve changed the dance scene over the years that came. At that time the underground dance scene became more mainstream and vinyl slowly turned into CD's. His musical preference was nearly unavailable on vinyl and he felt too obligated to change and therefore he resisted. At that moment for the first time in many years the void was filled and he knew at that moment in time he could not turn his back on the scene again. Finally he was able to enjoy his musical preference that was nearly unavailable 2 decades ago. And although everything was digital, the Soul in the music was there, vibrant and very much alive. So it wasn’t long before he jumped back in, picked up his DJ skills and embraced this new digital era full heartily and filled with possibilities. Now he's incorporating his knowledge of the past and the limitations of vinyl at that time into the enormous creative freedom with his musical Believe as the pillar of every performance. She first got close to DJing in 2012, it started as a hobby, then she took part in a contest organized by Budapest Deep Cafe, where she beat all the contestants and came first place. This is where her career started, she became a resident Dj in Mihaly Horvath's (Rizkid) team. The first festival performance was on the Summer Calling Festival, where she started to got recognized by the audience. From this point she was showered with better and better offers. She's only in the industry for a mere few years but already gained quite an audience, so she had the chance to play in the finest clubs in Budapest: Corvin Klub, Volt Music Bar, BRKLYN and Cafe Del Rio. She also became a resident of the Raqpart and the Japanika Sushi Bar. At the moment she is part of the kispentek crew. She was also lucky to work together with Oliver Schories, Roy Rosenfeld, Chriss Ronson, Maxim Kuznyecov, the Indigo Theory, Metha and other well known Hungarian DJs. Dorothy started her own party series in 2019, the LivingRoom and LivingRoom Tv, and she is planning to release her first producing later this year. She is also working with the SPONTAN team. Her music genre is deephouse(oriental house) and melodic techno, this is what really inspires her. Her first release was at 2018 at ITOM Records. The release was heavily supported by 1605 head man Umek.They have just recently released an EP on the Kevin Saunderson's KMS records and a 2 track ep on Spektre's Label Respekt Recordings not forgetting their massive release "Esperanza" on the mighty Flashmob Records. After their recent releases on Flashmob, KMS, Respekt and 1605. Alexey Samotarev started his musical career in 1997 as Breakbeat and Electrohouse Dj. Since 2003 – the participant of The Python Project (Progressive House, Tech House ,Techno) At the same time he started his Dj career (Vinyl/CD). He used to play in many Russian and Ukraine clubs, at many Fests and private parties in such cities as Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Astrahan’, Volgograd. Since 2009 he started his solo career as Samotarev with The Space Travel Track released at The Lowbit Label (with remixes by Thomas Penton, Rachael Star and Joshua Collins).In 2009 Samotarev established his own label – The Green Snake Label. The main direction of his Label is quality progressive sound. The Green Snake Label releases Russian and foreign artists. He deals with electronic musicians as well as with life projects. In 2012 he moved to Saint-Petersburg where became the resident of Parkking (famous afterparty club) and played in many other popular clubs such as Music Hall, 4:20 Music Lab, Prodj Club, OM Café, Look, Q Club... Alexey took part in Chillout Planet Festival. In the same time he worked a lot as a producer. In 2016 Samotarev moved in Thailand (Koh Phangan) and became the resident at 4U Bar & Lost Paradise. It's a pleasure for us to have this lady on our podcast series. Darya Nay, a DJ from Russia, who has always had a passion for music. As a teenager, she gathered her rock band, where she sang and play in bass. In 2007, graduated from the musical school of violin and piano instruments. Delving into the different genres, Darya came to the electronic music. This love broke out in 2018 after a vacation in Spain and parties in Ibiza. Upon returning home, she began working as a DJ in local clubs, playing multiple four-hour sets per week. Her performances immediately won the hearts of the public. Welcome to 2020 and this year we're starting with talented Dj, Theta Kavka, who is one of those local heroes, who keeps building up a local electronic music scene in his hometown. After years of school band memberships and music engineer studies, he slighted into the clubbing world by doing visuals and lights for his friends party. He started working in a local Club and became very familiar with DJ gear by repairing broke technics, mixers and stuff. So with all this gear in his front and the club keys in his pocket, he started spinning some records and learned how to mix them well. His knowledge in electronics and his creativity about building up fancy club decorations made him a well known part of the local club culture. In Summer 2017, Theta Kavka began building up his own event row named Elektronischer Querschnitt. He makes people work together and created a nice crew out of his party friendships. After some nice partys, he decided to quit his club job to become bird free. Without flying that high, he landed at fusion festival building the palapa stage with the Wanderzirkus crew. Now he’s giving us this podcast, which he describes as follow: First something to think about, then some to get high on, followed by something to get out of bed, then some Russian conspiracy shit, followed by a groove to forget the Russian thing, up to music he hear while playing gta, straight into a serious message about passion, back to danceable club music, shakin shakin shakin and finally something to chill and let all the last hour stress behind. This beautiful Sunday we have DJ, who was born in August in 1985 in the beautiful city of Gdansk, Poland. He never took music lessons but he listened to a lot, absorbing hip-hop to dance genres. Over time, he became interested in electronic music and began to delve into its roots. Michael Cretu and his Enigma, Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre are the people who influenced him the most. Neptun 505 started to create his own songs and remixes in 1999, but 2008 was a real breakthrough. Today he has collaborated with such labels as Bonzai Progressive, Electronic Tree, Stellar Fountain, Mistique, LuPS, Suffused, to name a few. His biggest achievements to date include the support of his works by Markus Schulz, Solarstone, Kintar, Gai Barone, Solid Stone, Tucandeo, Dale Middleton, Basil O'Glue ... and many other great artists. This is special - from Ontario, California, USA. One late night he tuned into the radio station and heard a very deep groovy track by Frankie Knuckles called the whistle song. The song immediately captured Brotha Berry thus beginning his love for house music. In early 2000 Brotha Berry realized he had a unique sound in music and began producing and experimenting with various genres ranging from progressive, ambient to trance.
