Ivan Michael Blackstock is a South London-born multidisciplinary artist whose work as a creative, mentor, and cultural innovator has been seen across the UK’s most iconic venues and beyond. First established as a professional dancer and choreographer, Ivan has worked with artists such as Dizzee Rascal, Kylie Minogue and the Pet Shop Boys. including television programmes, The X Factor UK, The Brit Awards and Dancing with the Stars USA. Building on this successful commercial career, Ivan went on to choreograph his own work and collaborate in stage productions and Hip Hop dance theatre presenting work at the Roundhouse, National Theatre and Breakin' Convention, as well as co-founding BirdGang Dance Company. 

 

CRXSS PLATFXRM, is an organization platforming talent by creating new directions and approaches to Youth, DIY and Street Culture. For Autumn 2021, Ivan created TRAPLORD for Channel 4 Random Acts, as part of his production company ALTRUVIOLET. Now awarded breakthrough cultural excellence in Film and Video for the inaugural Nowness Awards 2019, Choreographer for Beyonce's Disney exclusive, Black is King.
