For seconds we have one of the coolest cans out there, straight from the Belching Beaver Brewing company, the Deftones inspired Phantom Bride IPA!

Now this is a dangerous one for sure, but very interesting. This week we are gonna be serving up some powerful moonshine from Ole Smoky, Tennessee style! Each one has a pickling inside, so with these you get a drink and a snack. First we have the classic pickle in a mason jar, but instead of pickle juice we have moonshine. Then we will be having some peaches for desert. These drinks were really fun right off the shelf and make for an interesting combination.

Talk about a dark drink'o brew, if you've never had a porter then this episode is for you. Today we are trying out two rich coffee based drinks, known as porters, one of the darkest style of beer out there. And can I say these two are a good place to start trying out some dark beer, even if you aren't a fan of coffee. First we brave the dark waters of the cursed sea with Ballast Point's Victory at Sea. Second, we continue our journey to the pacific, where we try our first Pacifc Island beer with Maui Brewing's Coconut Hiwa! It doesn't get any better than this, so grab a glass and hold on tight!

Drink Adventures Ep1 - A Trip to the Farm (El Pajarete)

Buenos Dias Compas! Good to see you all again, and welcome to the first episode of a new series we are calling Drink Adventures! In this series we will be leaving the fancy studio that is my garage and hitting the streets to look for some delicious drinks. Sorry for the early wake up call, but you need to get up up at the crack of crack in order to taste this unique drink. On today's episode we will making a trip out to one of the local farms in our area to visit the cows and mix up a Pajarete. One of Mexico's "secret drinks" this cocktail consists of powdered sugar, chocolate, coffee (optional), grain alcohol, and the special ingredient fresh cow's milk! The result is a deliciously frothy concoction that is the perfect way to start your morning (well so long as you aren't going to be doing anything important). But be warned, you're gonna feel this one quick, so please be responsible. If you have the chance to try this forbidden drink definitely take it!
