Before reaching the closing episode of the first season of podcast "A3deh", we would like to share with you an episode from another podcast called "Jasadi" by @Kerningcultures. The podcast features stories on the body, the self, and what’s between them.

Our bodies and their biological characteristics do not necessarily mean a true reflection of our identity in which we identify ourselves with, although most of the time, society classifies us all exclusively as men or women, some people refuse to be put into these categories. Today's guests shared a glimpse of their gender identities that are outside of society's definition of male and female.

S01/Ep04: In this epsidoe, we listen to two stories, stories of women who went through circumcision

The voices we will be listening to are not of the women themselves, but the voice of a researcher and the voice of a friend who volunteered to document the stories vocally for the podcast.

Although circumcision is considered as a criminal act and is prohibited in some countries, it is still widely practised by lots of families and societies. For that reason, we must continue in talking about this topic in different spaces and keep documenting the stories of the consequences of circumcision, as well as giving the opportunity and the time to the women who are living with the experience to express their viewpoint and share their personal experience.
