I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent several hours with the exceptional musician, Mike Posner, who is not only one of my favorite artists but also a true legend in his own right. Mike embodies the essence of being a genuine "Capital-A" artist, living and breathing his craft. His music resonates with a sense of genuine joy, and you can practically hear his smile in every word he sings. Moreover, he's an incredibly beautiful soul to be around.

During our time together, Mike opened up from the depths of his heart. He shared his experiences dealing with the loss of his father, discussed his creative process, and delved into his personal journey of making sense of this world. He even recounted a close brush with death that left a lasting impact on him. I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down and sharing tea with my friend Mike Newton.

Mike is a growth marketer who has worked for multinational companies in Beijing, he has worked for Discord, and he has run his own growth marketing agency. He has also joined the subject matter autist coalition finding a path to turn his obsession into a career. In this case, his obsession is tea. We got to time travel back to his experiences living and working in Beijing. We sipped three different teas and "teetered" on the edge of Tea drunk. Momin is a creative force to be reckoned with. He is a connector, an operator, a musician, and a really fun dude. 1. Have a strong "why." Look, it's a fucking cliche, but it's also true like many. Mo saw that software was eating the world. He knew he didn't want to be an appetizer, so he set out to learn more.
2. Find your Yoda - Mo met his co-founder Neil who showed him what was possible when combining creativity and coding. Neil also offered up a challenge CTND
3. Mo realized that he wanted to build something with Neil. To join, Neil said, go write a smart contract.

5. He took a three-month coding boot-camp course that taught him a bunch of useless stuff, but the valuable thing it gave him was an understanding of logic.

I am working on simplifying and communicating topics that I am obsessed with, which are often complex. This podcast was an opportunity to attempt that. I thought a great opportunity to do that was to try and explain NFTs to my mom. We quickly devolved/evolved to a massive generational discussion which was quite fun. We talk about the world the baby boomers have left us, the evolutionary survival of a meme, NFTs, Cryptocurrencies, and the future of the world. I expressed a lot more of my radical ideas. I hope you enjoyed the podcast as much as we did.

There was a lot of stuff that we discussed towards the end of the podcast in economics that were directionally true but might have been precisely incorrect in our examples.
