Back in May of 2020, Randy and Kev took their first baby steps into the podcasting world. They had no goddamn clue what they were doing and only one of them had a decent mic! We figured the best way to start a podcast would be to see if we were any good at interviews, or even speaking into microphones. Randy had to edit, Kev had to do artwork and no one listened... or watched. Because folks, we put this fucker up on Youtube!

We couldn't record this week so inspirted by the wonderful suggestion by Barry John Williams' , here is the very first podcast Randy and Kev ever recorded!

The Attack Dragon (Draco ferox) is a large, obligate quadrupedal dragon distinguished by a dense, osteoderm-reinforced hide and an elongated cranial structure optimized for both intimidation and prey capture. The skull supports a double row of recurved, serrated teeth that are continuously replaced throughout the animal’s life, while a heavily muscled neck allows for powerful lateral strikes. Its wings, though capable of sustained flight, are proportionally thicker than those of migratory dragon species, favoring explosive takeoff and short, violent aerial engagements. Brideshead Revisited: The Sacred & Profane Memories of Captain Charles Ryder is a novel by the English writer Evelyn Waugh, first published in 1945. It follows, from the 1920s to the early 1940s, the life and romances of Charles Ryder, especially his friendship with the Flytes, a family of wealthy English Catholics who live in a palatial mansion, Brideshead Castle. Ryder has relationships with two of the Flytes: Lord Sebastian and Lady Julia. The novel explores themes including Catholicism and nostalgia for the age of English aristocracy.

Dancer

Once upon a time, there was a small wooden puppet who dreamed of being a dancer. All his puppet friends told him "You'll never be a dancer! You lack the requisite dexterity because of your inarticulate limbs!" The little wooden puppet wouldn't listen and set out to the big city to find a dance master to help him accomplish his dreams. For 12 days and 12 nights he journeyed, by hill and by stream, by wood and by plain. Eventually, weary and slightly worm-chewed, he came upon a roadside inn from whence came the sounds of music which made the puppet's feet start to jig and his body to convulse into electric rhythms. He walked toward the door and as it opened and the warm yellow light of lanterns bathed his upturned, hopeful face, some great lumbering drunken twat staggered out and stepped on him, crushing him into fifteen splintered, lifeless pieces. The moral of the story is, if you're a small wooden puppet, don't wander around outside nightclubs in Clacton because, chances are, you're gonna git squished by a bell end!

We're back baby! Now, let's see if we can remember how this works... we have to spin a donut, or a coin, or something like that. We have to pull up wikileaks, and talk about the Queen, then ask a bunch of Poles what they think of the song we just listened to that the Queen sang... Hmm, this sounds ridiculous even by our standards. Oh well, what could possibly go wrong. Old Johnny Two Hats and his trusty sidekick are back to guide you through the dazzlingly eclectic catalogue of Queen (the band, not the decomposing monarch...)

We finally spun up a Sarah Chapman song and it was one that neither Kev nor Randy had heard before. We listened to the recess monkeys, we chatted about Chiliwack, Randy discovered a fashion connection between Luke Spiller and Freddie Mercury and we had a good old time listening to some loud, sweaty rack and roll!

Yo! We're back with another Kofi ep peepils! It's a strange one. Like, really quite strange. It's by a band we knew nothing about and still know very little about! This week's song was requested by David A Wilson, who let me know in advance that it was a weird song! Did I mention that this one is a little off-kilter?
