We now have our Super Bowl LX Champions. Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks and their fans on their beat down of the overmatched Patriots. The Seahawks defense put in a performance for the ages in order to hoist the Lombardi Trophy by the end of the night. Sam Darnold finally got some redemption and proved that maybe all he needed was a good situation around him.

Mike Macdonald becomes one of the youngest coaches to ever win it all. K-9 got the MVP, but who else could have gotten it? Was this the Patriots' best chance at winning it all? Are other teams kicking themselves that the Patriots were the team representing the AFC? Was Drake Maye overmatched? Is the Patriots' roster more flawed than anyone suspected? The guys dig all the way in.

Yes, the Conference Championship games are over and the New England Patriots will face the Seattle Seahawks in two weeks for all of the marbles! Congrats to fans of both teams. Obviously, Jon is bummed that his rival team is going to the big game (again), but you gotta love what Mike Vrabel has done with this team. The guys discuss the AFC Championship game that was, in all of its defensive glory. 10-7 is a low-scoring affair, no doubt. How did the Patriots pull it off? Did Sean Payton blow the game by not taking an easy field goal? Was his ego to blame?

The NFC Championship game was way more exciting, with two familiar teams going at it. It came down to the wire, and the Sam Darnold-led Seahawks pulled it off. It's another example of a team making a quick turnaround. The Seattle fans must be proud of their organization. Schif is extra bummed that his team passed on both of the coaches that will be playing in the Super Bowl. Such is life.

Jon & Schif get together to discuss the Divisional Round in all it's glory. The round that delivered a great game that ultimately resulted in a team moving on without their quarterback. Hopefully that Broncos defense can holdup in the next round. What's next for Buffalo? Are changes necessary? Is that franchise cursed? They'll be facing a Patriots team that beat a seemingly mentally shrunken C.J. Stroud who could not stop turning the ball over in a wild game that saw both teams with multiple mistakes. In the end, the Patriots came out on top and are now ready to compete against a short-handed Broncos team to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Is Jon bummed, YES! But that doesn't take away from the cool story of what can be an unmatched one-season redemption story.

On the other side are the Seahawks, who look like an unstoppable buzz saw that made easy work of a hobbled 49ers team. K-9 and company look good on one side of the ball, while that defense looks outright menacing on the other side. The 49ers couldn't get anything going as their season sputtered to an end, letting us all get one more look at our NFC redemption king Mac Jones, who came in for all the wrong reasons. The Seahawks will be facing their division rival Rams, who almost let the Bears drop another miracle ending on them, if it weren't for Caleb Williams doing some typical Caleb Williams stuff (Schif has thoughts about this guy). The Bears shouldn't hang their heads, but should the Rams be worried?

That's right, we're almost at the halfway point of the season and our guys are at that part of the calendar that they circled as soon as the schedule came out. The Dolphins are playing the Falcons! Unfortunately the season has panned out the way it has and this looks like it will be a one-sided affair where the Falcons will be rolling into a "trap game" of sorts because the Dolphins suck so bad. Jon, of course, was again let down by his beloved Dolphins who seem to hate him. The rest of the league action is all that he can cling on to to get through this trying time. While the Bucs look like the best team in the seemingly stronger NFC. There were some surprising results in week 6, with the Cowboys falling to the Panthers and the Giants besting the possible reeling Eagles. It is official. Jon's team sucks! Count them out for the season. Our host is in shambles. But the season goes on. Schif had the luxury of a bye week, so he isn't in the worst of shape. It's time for them to break down the week that was.

Some teams continue to shock the league, with their Shanahanigans, for example. The 49ers won a division game despite a severely depleted roster, solidifying Kyle Shanahan as one of the elite coaches in the league (to Schif's dismay, of course). The Colts have solidified themselves as a top team in the AFC somehow. The Lions are still rolling and the Eagles look like they're prime for a takedown. Baker is still Baker and Geno is regressing. So much to discuss.

That's right, the season kicks off while Jon and Schif are asleep, but that won't stop them from making predictions. First Schif gives a quick update, and then they get right to it. Last season the guys went 6 out of 8 by calling every division winner right besides their teams' divisions (cue Homer). To keep that from happening again, they enlisted their friend Sean to help pick the division winner parlay bet and it's officially in. Bet it yourself as well if you want to make 177 times your money (gamble responsibly).

A lot has happened since we last joined our guys Jon & Schif. Some teams have parted ways with big roster pieces while others recommitted (Hi Raiders!) and one major player (Hi DK!) has demanded a trade. The offseason is officially in motion and the guys react accordingly.

Some rules changes and amendments are underway as with every offseason. However, it looks like things will pretty much remain the same, despite some tech improvements that could make things more fair.

That's right ladies and gentlemen, Super Bowl LIX is now officially decided. The Kansas City Chiefs will try and make history, while the Philadelphia Eagles will try to avenge their loss from two years ago.

The storylines will be aplenty until that game, but we had quite the eventful championship round. The first game began with a boom. The Eagles shot out of a cannon and never looked back. The game was competitive for a bit, but the outmatched Commanders didn't have what it took to win on this day. The better team won, and Washington has nothing to hang its head about. Makes you wonder what a Detroit/Philly game would have been like. The guys were impressed by Saquon Barkley, who looks like a man on a mission right now.

The second game provided both amazing highlights and an air of inevitability. The Chiefs had too much for the game Bills. Kansas City seems to be peaking right when it's time. They have officially beaten every team they've faced this season. It's on to the Super Bowl. Many have grown tired of this team that seems to be in full-on dynasty mode. Our guys don't have that fatigue just yet. They explain why.

Congrats to your team if they made the cut. If you're like Jon and Schif, then better luck next year. But too much is going on for our guys to sulk in their post-season sadness. The playoffs are right around the corner and some good games are on the horizon. Games that will ultimately determine this season's champion.

First and foremost, "Black Monday" has passed, and three coaches got the axe. Ironically, the two Black coaches got fired before and after the darkly named day. Jon doesn't think that's by chance. There are plenty of candidates for the five coachless teams. All of them are already kicking tires. One team (Hi Dallas!) doesn't want anyone near their unsigned coach just yet. Odd behavior is no new thing coming out of that organization, so the guys keep it moving.

Some key injuries make things tougher for some of the remaining teams. One team (Hi Packers!) maybe could have avoided two issues.

The final week of the NFL season is full of uncertainty as always. There are mismatches aplenty as well as best player rest going on. Who the hell knows what's in store for us? The league is well aware of the lackluster effort that we're all in for and has tried to schedule around it, with the marquee matchup being the Vikings vs Lions on Sunday night.

That doesn't excuse the guys from making Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em picks. Jonathan has all but clinched the regular season (no surprise there), but the game is still up for grabs for Schif with playoff games being worth more points. The guys are prepared to make their final picks.

There are plenty of questions that will soon be answered. Like will Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen or Saquan Barkley win the MVP award for the season. Who do the guys think should get it? The guys are happy that both of their teams won, though Jon wants the hope to end. Things fell into place as we lead into the Christmas week. The guys will be hanging out with family and friends during the holiday festivities, so this action-packed episode will react and predict.

The episode begins with a recap of the relevant matchups, as many teams are still in the playoff hunt. Losses by the Broncos, Seahawks, Bucs and Eagles can change the playoff landscape big time. It may be too late for some teams (Hi Bengals!), but there is still some outside hope if things fall into place. That's why they play the games.

The Chiefs and Lions still look like front-runners for a Super Bowl showdown, with great performances by both of them. But don't let that distract you from what the Ravens are doing at this time. And was Jon correct about the Steelers peaking too early? Their upcoming matchup against the one-loss Chiefs will tell us a lot.

Jon's Dolphins have finally put him out of his misery with a loss. Now it's time to move on to another team to root for with the playoffs around the corner. What team is he interested in rooting for? Schif still has hope, but the Monday night game isn't decided with his Falcons yet. Fingers still crossed! The guys have, however been able to cash in on some good bets with a week 15 that went as they predicted. At least there's that.

Some other games were played over the weekend and the action was there. One team (Hi Panthers!) performed as they should have, though they were somehow predicted to have a better showing than our guys predicted/expected in their loss to the obviously better Cowboys. The Rams and 49ers underwhelmed, while the Bills and Lions put on a show that we all were waiting for (and betting on in this case). Josh "Solid Gold" Allen delivered yet again in a performance that strengthened his MVP bid (as the NFL wants, according to Jonathan).

Again, there were some unfortunate injuries (get well soon Chubb!) and some returns to greatness (Hi Lamar!) that rounded out a fun week that gave the guys a lot to talk about.

Jon is bummed again after a tough Thanksgiving weekend for Miami sports fans. One thing that was able to keep his spirits up was the Thanksgiving Dinner party that he and Schif enjoyed on Saturday. That was one for the ages.

The Thanksgiving games were "meh" with one great game of the three. One game cost Matt Eberflus his job (which the guys said he shouldn't have had anyway, but let's move on). The Chiefs squeaked past another bad team, leaving the guys worried... or not. Are they going to peak when the time is right? Or do they just get benefit of the doubt because they're the current dynasty?

The Sunday/Monday games were up and down with teams causing heartbreak to their fans (hi Falcons and Jets!). Schif doubled down on his willingness to trade away Cousins for Mayfield (the best in the game, according to Jon). Mayfield did gut his team to another victory, as both Jon and Schif's teams slide towards early exits before the playoffs (PLAYOFFS? Don't talk about playoffs...).

Some teams came out winning in ways they didn't show us before (hi Steelers!), as we get closer to that final tournament that we all love.

It was an eventful week that included quite a few upsets and closer matchups than anyone predicted. The Chiefs, for instance, were a few plays from getting bounced by the Panthers. The lowly Cowboys beat the Commanders in a crazy game that shouldn't have been as close as the final score. The Texans have a bit of soul-searching to do after a head-scratching loss to the Titans. The mighty Steelers were knocked down a few pegs by the Browns in a true AFC North classic game that Schif aptly describes as the perfect story for a film.

Spoiler season is already in full effect, according to Schif, who begins this episode with the news of Daniel Jones being set free by the hapless New York Giants front office. Jon thinks that front office is a pandering joke. He breaks it down for you. Some teams handled their business (Hello Broncos, Dolphins, Bucs, Packers and Lions) in week 12. That's right folks, the season is winding down. Teams are already preparing for next year. That includes firing some key personnel for other personnel that happen to have that DAWG in them (Hi Bears!) and demoting some starting quarterbacks to see what the future might hold (Hi Colts!). Another action-packed week is behind us and the guys begin by licking their wounds after Dolphins and Falcons losses. By licking their wounds, we mean focusing on NCAA Football, as both the Bulldogs and Hurricanes are in the top 10. So there's that.

However, on the NFL front, some teams are looking good. In one surprising case, an entire division is looking good (shout out to the NFC North). Some teams look ready to pack it up for the season. Expect some roster moves and asset acquiring in the near future.

It's time for another SveNFL Emergency Pod! We suspected this might be necessary due to some news that felt like it was bound to happen. Davante Adams has been unhappy in the land of business decisions, so he had demanded a trade. With Derek Carr no longer an option, it seemed inevitable that Adams would want a reunion with his other old pal, Mister A-A-RON himself.

Now the inevitable has happened, as the Jets and Raiders have come to terms with a trade for a conditional third round pick (highest value at second round). This is huge news, but is this a good idea? The Jets are coming off of another loss, have a divided locker room, interim coach and a quarterback that seems to be running the shots despite not likely being a Jet for more than this and next year.

The guys pull out their magic 8 balls and try to perfectly predict (again) the results of the week's games. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. This week proves to be tougher than last week with many even matchups scheduled. A lot of results look like they will be tossups.

The drama is definitely there, with Sean Payton coming to the city that he brought a ring to (only to abandon before his contract ended) in 2009. His new Broncos are underdogs in what could be a revenge game that could possibly get the Payton weight off of Dennis Allen's shoulders.

The Texans/Packers, Lions/Vikings and Chiefs/49ers all look like compelling matchups, while the Giants/Eagles is a divisional matchup AND revenge game with Saquon Barkley taking on his former team that seems to be overmatched on paper, but scrappy in general.

For the first time ever, the Flip Em Pick 'Em picks were 100% correct! That's right, the guys called each game correctly, but somehow never thought to bet the picks, so they are still poor and will continue podcasting (which is a silver lining). In more good news, neither of their teams lost (Dolphins were on a bye), though the Falcons did give a bit of a scare. The boys are happy. By the boys, we don't mean the Cowboys, who managed a paltry nine points in a blowout loss to the ever-impressive Lions. On that note, thoughts and positive vibes go out to a pod favorite Aiden Hutchinson who went down with a horrific injury.

Bad teams kept bad teaming in week 6, with favorites handling their business for once. A week of no upsets makes us think we've got our finger on the pulse of the league. Some standout performances were Baker Mayfield (Jon's new boo), Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Derrick Henry and A.J Brown. There's room for improvement for the Cowboys, Browns and Cardinals, among others. The guys dig right in with their takes.

Cue the sirens because the first coach fired is official. Robert Saleh is no longer at the helm of the New York Jets. Was this a good decision? His record of 20-36 is pretty bad, but you kinda know what he is as a coach. It can be argued that he overachieved last season considering the circumstances. The first weekend of football is now over and boy are the guys excited! They were very close to a full football cumshot, but the Falcons let Schif down. Jon almost had a bad Sunday as well, but his team pulled through in the end. Many of the predictions came true, with only three picks being guessed incorrectly in Flip Em & Pick Em. Jon leads Schif 9-7, but the season is mighty young.

The action was there, with some great games throughout the weekend. The Rams and Lions put on a show. The Eagles beat a game Packers team. The Chiefs seem to be gearing up for more dominance, while the Panthers and Giants may well be the bottom of the barrel this year. Rookie quarterback debuts (Williams, Nix and Daniels) left a bit on the bone, while second year players (Stroud, Levis, Young and Richardson) had mixed results. There were some new names that stood out and some tried and true veterans that appear to be primed to return to glory. It was week one, so the guys won't jump to conclusions, but they have to hand out awards.

The final week of the NFL regular season is here and we have a packed episode dedicated to unpacking a packed week. We begin with the news. Owners are gonna owner, and the NFL is gonna NFL. David Tepper got his "punishment" for throwing a drink at a fan. Jon and Schif weigh in. Teams are trying to decide what players to rest. A few players have milestones they are trying to achieve, while a few teams have nothing to play for. Two teams with a lot to play for are the Dolphins and Bills, with the game of the week. The results of that game will determine the fate of quite a few teams.

Schif has an updated hot seat check for coaches that either are, or should be, on the fringe of employment after shaky seasons. Check out which coaches might get walking papers.

The playoff picture is a little clearer, but those fringe teams still have hope. Both the AFC and NFC have a handful of teams with realistic chances of making the big dance. Then it's anyone's game. The 1-seeds are already finalized, so Baltimore and San Francisco can rest easy and wait a couple of weeks before hitting the field again. The guys dig all the way into the possibilities with this final week on the horizon.

There isn't a prediction episode without predictions, so the guys make their picks. This week is the week that won the ESPN pick game for Schif last year, so choose carefully. As for the NFL... Week 17 is in the books!

We football fans got lucky this year because there are meaningful games remaining after another exciting week of football. Jon and Schif are licking their wounds, as their teams suffered losses (Jon's Dolphins an embarrassing one). Some of the games were pretty much inconsequential, but some set up an exciting final week. The NFC and AFC South divisions are both still three-way races, which will be determined by final-week rivalry games after this week's results.

Schif continued his dominance over Jon in Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em. Let's not forget that things were pretty much the same last year and Jon won. Schif won the Petty Bowl with more of his asterisks coming true than Jon.

The Broncos had a somewhat successful season, but decided Russell Wilson wasn't worth the injury risk, so they shut him down for the year. He won't be restructuring his deal, so he just might be a very expensive cap hit, since all signs point to him being cut from the team. What team would he be a good match for? There isn't much news to report, so the guys pretty much jump right into the playoff picture and discuss the possibilities for all of the teams still in the picture. Are the Bills a nightmare matchup for the Chiefs? Can the Falcons sneak in? Are the Colts going to drop out? Who takes their place if they do? So many questions to ponder.
