The episode spent a while talking about the legendary Chomp bar story (read the tale here) – a quirky tradition from the terraces where fans famously threw Chomp chocolate bars onto the pitch celebrating a goal, a playful and chaotic moment that perfectly captured the fun-loving spirit of the Bees’ supporters. Billy went into great detail, exploring how this cheap sweet treat became a symbol of terrace mischief and fan camaraderie.

But the show wasn’t just about songs. Billy also reflected on the character of Brentford as a club. For years, the Bees languished in the lower leagues, often producing middling football. 🚨 Mbeumo Joins Manchester United

It’s official: Bryan Mbeumo has joined Manchester United in a blockbuster £65 million deal — a figure that could rise to £71 million with add-ons. While the fee feels like good business for the Bees, the drama didn’t stop at the signing. Apparently, Manchester United weren’t too impressed with Brentford’s negotiation tactics — a claim that amused the panel no end. United not happy with tough negotiations? Hey ho!.

😤 Wissa Wants Out

Meanwhile, Yoane Wissa has reportedly downed tools and is refusing to train in a bid to force a move away from West London. Sources claim he’s returning to Jersey Road this week however — how thoughtful. Newcastle United remain strongly linked, with Saudi interest also growing. Wissa is said to be banking on previous verbal assurances from the club, while Brentford hold firm at a £50 million valuation. The club has made it clear: only one major sale this window, and that door is now closed.. unless the money is too much to ignore.
