009 - I'm Not Stupid

Well I’m madder than the snake that married the garden hose! That’s not true but I read that saying somewhere this week and it made me laugh. So actually I’m laughing, I’m not mad. Please don’t put in the newspaper that I’m mad. I’m Not! Our heroes had a lot of fun this week discussing things like Jeff’s new beat tag, Limewire and it’s descendents, Bootleg T-Shirts, Watching Movies With The Sound Off (a thing they’re actually doing, not the Mac Miller album), the pitch clock in baseball, and a new segment that is yet to be named. Basically they play a demo / reference track and discuss the story behind it and compare it to the final product. Here’s a hint for the first song - Ella, Ella, Ella, Eh? Eh? (bonus hint - she’s NOT Canadian). Also in a not-to-be-missed moment, the episode concludes with a… Jeff’s Final Thought???

007 - Someone's Getting Fired

Well, here we are. Every creative endeavor must cross this bridge at one point or another. On behalf of the Hometown Heroes management, I am here to make an apology. There was a critical technical error produced during the recording of this episode that caused one of the microphones to not record. The employee responsible for this blunder has been terminated not only from HH LLC but also Earth as a whole. The audio provided here is from the backup camera. Thankfully for the backup, this hour of brilliant minds in the arena of debate wasn't lost to the ages. The boys discuss Jeff's first big Tik Tok, Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill, You People, RunDisney, and Jeff's bowling achievement of the century.
