Falkirk (CMLF) and Chamber Music Scotland, Sound Tracks was premiered live in Falkirk in 2022 and studio recordings of the new compositions are now set for release. Blending classical, jazz and folk traditions, Sound Tracks is a celebration of the rich history and rebirth of the Falkirk area in the form of a musical love letter from the composer to his home town. Global interest in the trio was sparked when Classic FM featured a video of Stevenson’s arrangement of the hymn ‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel and UK broadcasters have been quick to support the trio’s subsequent festive releases. Live performances are being scheduled for 2023.
