We’re continuing where we left off from the last podcast and having a straight read through of the RPG Tower of Heaven, a circa 2020 game about an ex-angel breaking into heaven about an ex-love. If you’ve ever loved supernatural stories that are cozy and at the same time heart wrenching, then this game and it’s prompts will be perfect for you! Sometimes we do need the realms of story and fictions to expound on what we feel, through borrow paints, and timelines expanded.

This is direct read of the instructions of the game and i do read all 78 rooms of tower of heaven, each one a reinterpreted scape of the classical tarot deck. Feel free to pause at any parts/rooms that you like or even randomly shuffle through the audio. I hope you enjoy the Worlds I built back in 2020 as much as I do.

A new format for the new year! In this episode Maria plays through an old RPG game they wrote in 2020 about an ex-angel breaking into heaven about an ex-love. A story of liminality and symbol, we explore the space of Stories (a general one or a particular one) and how it can activate the untouched rooms of our psyche.

This is part 1 of 2, of a coupled episode where the second episode will be a read through of all 78 rooms of tower of heaven, each one a reinterpreted scape of the classical tarot deck.

Usually topics around rewriting soul contracts, reclaiming and stitching parts of the soul, and “timeline rectification” is couched in very mystical language. So much so that the technical aspects, what these things actually entail are lost in vague poetry. In this episode, we walk through the main definitions, common cases and pitfalls with regards to terms like “soul contracts” (the akash), “soul reclamation” “timeline jumping/ weaving/ hooking” in a way that’s practical for the everyday psychopomp but also clientele who want to understand why their soul feels “trapped” “is missing parts” “may utang” or “is pulled in a certain direction” like an undeniable magnet.

As I’ve come to always say, the soul has so much magick to it, but also so much logick, and laughably, Math. Laws like equal exchange, or even just accrued debt. 77 Childlike Hope vs Adult Disappointment: Alchemy and an Exercise

By the end of the year we usually take stock of the past, and meet maybe (with some disappointment and frustration!) the gap between our previous new year’s intentions, goals, and maybe our own personal expectations. The energy of innocence, hope, youth, dreams, vigour is something that will always co-exist and lie in contrast with the energy of salt, mud, wisened protection, aged bitterness, the rubber meeting the road.

Maybe what’s stopping us from a real fresh start, or fresh feeling with life, is the closet of old dreams, deflated, when the wind, “was knocked right out of us” and just the nuanced history of hard things happening to us and around us, and our conscious self doing it’s best to “catch up” with ourselves and where we’re really at, alongside the truths in the dreams of where we want to be.

This podcast ep covers an exercise that reviews not only gratitude of the past year, but the underlying more secret disappointments we have had, and considering if there are underlying patterns and themes of desire, wisdom, worldly truths that hold a larger realization, truth and meeting of where you really are right at this moment. This transcendent ‘knowing’ is tempered by the acceptance of the heart, but also acknowledging the true callings/desire of the will (A mind-heart-will resonance so to speak).

Episode actually has ASMR-like quiet times for when we journal/write alongside each other. Hope this serves you well .

Write 10 disappointments/failures/things from the past year/the past in general

What did you want from it really?
What actually happened? What truth was revealed from your exploration?

Step 2

Notice patterns from your list, are they usually around a certain theme? Is there an underlying real need from defeated dreams? Is there a pattern of lesson from the realizations? Which numbers feel like they’re more “loaded”/more baggage?

Don’t math it, listen to the ache/notice rather than solve

Step 3

Walk it out: what is the core truth of where you are at? the base of the tree? Shadow and light, rubber and road: digesting a transcendent and integrated truth: will (desires, dualities) heart (acceptance) and mind/soul (+transcendence). How do you feel? How to support this?

Hello and welcome to a thorny banger! This is honestly a very tricky topic to discuss as most folks can have a lot of built-up trauma around money, systemic power struggles, and perceptions with income classes that’s just got it good. As much as spirituality and Love steeps all things, very “societal” constructs: like classism and privilege are these very real karmic-imprints/thought-forms/collectively-shared-baggage that can’t be just philosophized away but is something that needs to be seen with utmost clarity, compassion and alchemy. A very human integration to say, spiritual experience.

In this new podcast episode we have as our guest, Nix, a practicing korean folk-shaman and anthropologist sitting us down and easefully combing for us the core differences in thinking around western and eastern mystical-spiritual practices. In the second installment of creative process as spiritual discipline we talk about somatics and dancing! The podcast gives a brief overview of mystery traditions that relate to ecstatic release and cultures of movement in communities. We then segway to artistic containers and explorations, of authentic movement, allowing dance (and a bit of theater) to alchemize experiences that can be often so hard to verbalize. Decolonization, Intersectional Privilege and Healing Collectives

A lot of people encounter healing via personal development or simply trying to relieve their own suffering. Where that is so powerful, just as powerful is also being able to speak about group stories, histories, and collective experiences, to feel in belonging with, solidarity with, and healing with a group. Wether it’s from imperial history, sexism, ableism, it can be very fruitful for everyone to have a lens of intersectional privilege/rank, to really allow us to digest and integrate the realities of healing but also meeting life sometimes face to face, and other times, with our face to the dirt.

This episode also covers some considerations and techniques when translating, shifting concepts (that is increasing our native tolerance) — that are commonly used for individual healing into speaking and leading processes for possibly smaller and larger groups. In many ways the task of caring for the world, is a world level work, in the same way the community takes care of the commons.
