We begin discussing the launch of Meghan's Instagram, and new show. From how long this Instagram has been into the works, to what 'With Love, Meghan' is rooted in and what I’m hoping to see. I haven’t felt this hopeful since 2008 and Obama was synonymous with the word.

I also take us back to 2024, for an article by the Sunday Times on the Royal PR round-up for 2024. With it being almost a year after photogate, I can't help but look into the PR talking points that the Wales are sticking too, and how they've grown.

Shady's Back, Tell a Friend

We’re back!

Despite a couple months of a slow news cycle, the royals came in fierce the last couple weeks with news. We’ve got a banana article by Alex’s problematic fave, Tom Sykes, thanks to William’s friends who have some interesting takes on the Sussex’s Colombia tour. Robert Jobson’s new book about Kate, which, ‘….makes his role as an impartial biographer rather suspect.’ Not my words, but Alexander Larman, from The Sunday Times. The Sussex’s Colombia tour, and all things tour fashion.

We deep-dived in a serious topic, the attack, then racist riots that followed, that happened in the UK in the beginning of August. Which was followed by a response from King Charles that took some pressure. We discuss if it’s up to par, and if it really showcases the modern and diverse monarchy, we’ve been told he and William strive to be.

Along with some more things, we covered our bases for a packed episode of all thing's royals.

THE CATEGORY IS: TRICKS OR TREATS

In this episode we explored a recent story- the Middletons, like their rich & royal-counterparts, using tax dollars to pay their bills, and the laminated poster bandit that’s causing havoc at the ‘first families’ Bucklebury village. 🤔 Royal Rota and conservative media have opted for word choices like ‘abuse’ and ‘harassment’ when describing the post.Amanda and I, though, think that’s a bit (huge) overreaction.

We also get into something serious, Nazism. Specifically, a 2015 Sun article with footage of three future monarchs doing the Nazi salute in 1933. I know, especially right now, this is an extremely sensitive topic. I explain why I’m covering this story, that portion begins and ends between, 33:47 - 48:50.

But don’t worry, we left off on a note that is ‘interesting’ (Everette) ‘horrible’ (Amanda) ‘Victoria’s treat’ (Alex) when talking about the urban legend, Prince Albert’s (rumored) Prince Albert.
