Raised predominantly is Essex, UK, Ben was born on the floor of Abbey RoadStudio’s famed Studio Two. Growing up in a musical environment, Ben initially tinkered on the drum-kit before moving over to guitar at the age of ten. Before long he was performing live with anyone who would have him. Over the years that have followed, Ben has become somewhat of a musical vagabond, plying his trade with anything that sparks his interest, gaining vast experience performing, recording and writing with many bands and artists along the way and, in doing so, has found himself involved amongst a myriad of different musical situations (including a short stint blowing the longhorn in the Swiss Alps for little more than chocolates and handshakes).

Simon has had an extensive career in theatre, from working stage door at Theatre Royal Plymouth to opening and operating venues, including Milton Keynes Theatre. Now managing the Towngate and co-producing our award winning pantomimes, Simon chats about his life in theatre and how he got where he is today, whilst giving nuggets of advice for those looking to work in the industry.
