			<description><![CDATA[<p>On today episode we spoke to William Clouston the leader of the Social Democratic Party or SDP.</p><br><p>The SDP that William leads came to being in 1990 and traces its origins back to the Social Democratic Party formed in 1981 by a group of Labour MPs - Roy Jenkins, David Owen, Bill Rodgers and Shirley Williams. A decade after its arrival the SDP merged with the The Liberal Party, becoming the Liberal Democrats.
