Horror have not been the greatest to my knowledge in 2024. I cannot believe Late Night with the Devil is #1 of 2024??? Come on!! The load of horse manure?? woooooo I have so much to rant about in this bonus episode that had to make an IG reel about it in my sleep scarf. I'm going to sleep on movies that are coming out in 2024 and to the point have no interest but some are interesting to actually spend my coin to view. I need my independent horror film makers to rise and take over!

Cult, obscure horror/mystery film from the 80's starring Susan Tyrell (Crybaby) Bo Svenson and a very young Bill Paxton tells the tale of an overprotective aunt and coming of age nephew whose future doesn't look to promising because he didn't wear his shades and the aunt holds some pretty horrific secrets. The real nightmare is the subject matter of enmeshed emotional incest aka toxic boy mom/aunt which I totally despise and my real feelings on parents' holding their children hostage into adulthood with dysfunctional relationships. You feel so badly for Billy because he is the true victim. I was mad as hell at Aunt Cheryl and Detective Carlson, woooo got my blood pressure up.Thank you for listening!

Dashcam-2021

Annie Hardy stars as herself in this horror film set in the UK. Annie leaves L.A. during the pandemic, joining her bandmate Stretch in England. After overhearing Stretch's girlfriend wanting to kick Annie out the house, she steals their car, records everything with her dashcam and phone with a huge social media presence witnesses every move and song lyric. Annie comes across a stranger with the strangest request to drop an older lady at a residence, things get mental when an angry woman chases Annie & Stretch while keeping up with Angela/Akira who have supernatural powers. The film, breaks 4th wall and flips the script as Annie being the "final girl" is a polarizing asshole character and the horrors of a mother going rouge looking for her missing child. Love it or hate it, Dashcam does have a flimsy plot and confusing but there's layers of the film that is not hard to grasp. Thank you for listening to The Random Horror Show.

Terrifier 2 hit theaters on October 6th bringing in a whoppin 8 million at the box office not counting in streaming services. Art the Clown is back and this time stalking siblings before Halloween. The kills, practical effects and gore is over the top delicious and no bounds on being "safe" horror. Hear my rambling random thoughts on this long ass horror movie, Art the Clown grew on me and a fantasy sub-genre element added with a homage to 80's horror films especially heavy influence of Nightmare on Elm St 3: Dream Warriors and wassup with Sierra Mist becoming She-Ra, Taarna and Xena Warrior princess?? 🤣🗡️. Bravo to Damien Leone grossing out audience and setting the tone for independent filmmakers in mainstream.

This film is so much fun to watch with friends, family or your boo thang (since this is cuffing season) so grab your favorite cold one and be in for a good time.

Join me as I destroy this show from Old Raccoon City to New Raccoon City from the plot, the characters even down to how annoying teenagers are. Based on the video game and six RE sequels. Jade, a scientist is on the quest for a cure in the on-going zombie apocalypse. Umbrella is on the hunt for Jade as she treks through zombies, rouge humans, mutated animals and lots of family issues in Season 1. This one is a miss for me.

Set in the 40's Nightmare Alley is a down and out man name Stanley Carlisle whom learn the art from Zeena and her husband during the carnival. Soon he is the mastermind of clarvyonance using the tricks he aquired targeting the rich and wealthy. A mysterious woman Dr Lilith Ritter who holds vital information of the wealthy clients' deepest secrets during sessions makes a deal with Stan to swindle the rich and wealthy until his final "show" goes wrong. Cast a Deadly Spell set in the 40's in Los Angeles where magic is common. A P.I name Howard Philip Lovecraft (non magic user) is on the case of a missing book--The Necronomicon; hired by a wealthy scholar to retrieve the famous book with plans to open the gates of the ancient one Cthulhu on the full blood moon in the world. Lovecraft must save the world, battle his ex partner and a love triangle with his former flame. Film noir or neo-noir movies are always a first love due to the style, pacing and romanticism of the 40's.

A former white supremacist politician settles in a plantation home with a gruesome massacre of slaves by the former slave owner and last but not least; a gang member saved by the cops is used as an experimental "rehabilitation" to change his ways. As I misspoken, this is a masterpiece of horror cinema and the same resonance still remains social issues and woes in the black communities as of 2022. Sometimes being in the Bible Belt are the stuff of nightmares. You may think "harmless" but from my perspective it's not cool to hide and run away on Sundays from the LBT bus. In my own experience, others and many more sharing these experiences, we always ran away from them. Three part series.

The story of a French lieutenant bumping into a mysterious woman on the beach, he finds himself in some deep ass entanglements with antisocial Baron Von Leppe, a old woman with a plot of revenge, a falcon and a 20 year old mystery uncovering betrayal, murder, witchcraft, obsession and a whole bunch of lying 🤥. Andre's (Jack Nicholson) boner lead him down a deep rabbit hole.

What they find out is a crocodile from S.East Asia living at the lake (retirement), changing the keystone environment and a elderly, salty mouth lady protective of the mammoth beast. This is dedicated to Betty White, gives us laughs and fierce protection of animals in the perfect role of Mrs. Delores Bickerman. The first is the best one out of the sequels, let alone not supposed to be spin off but I digress. Mother Demon Superior is the main boss villian which she is the damn devil. Adults failed Billy in this slasher horror flick about a tragic murder of a family in Utah, killed by a guy dressed as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Sole survivors, a 6 year old Billy witnessing the traumatic incident and a newborn Ricky crying ain't seen shit. Billy grows up finding purpose and normalcy until Christmas Eve, triggering the painful haunting memories activating his Dark Passenger Dexter Morgan tendency. The sequel is actually the whole 1st movie then rehashing the same with Ricky vs. Mother Demon Superior. Ricky actually had a girlfriend 🤣

Before you get get ya panties twisted watch Train to Busan, this horror movie is perfect as it is! American remakes of foreign movies are trash or lost the translation due to bastardized and water down for an American movie audience. We've seen this over the years with American version of foreign movies that doesn't fit the American "recipe" translation. Here me cuss and pretty much being a real ASS country hood redneck sharing my POV. Don't get it twisted I'm literally sick of remakes. If this is made a HUGE disrespect to this Korean horror movie especially giving us emotional moments, character development and lots of zombies!

Edward, a sad vampire hemotologist is finding a solution replicate a better blood supply to substain the blood shortage in a world crisis. When some humans showed up and sees a warm bodied human woman like she's Julie Delpy, he got excited. Elvis and Audrey pair up with Edward to find the ultimate cure to change vampires back to humans. Meanwhile his boss being greedy, doesn't want change until every human on the planet is caught and farmed for their blood supply. Then we got real deal shit of vampires devolving into sub mutated creatures causing havoc in the city. This is the reason why vampire take over is not glamorous nor "cool". A realistic look how depressing vampire society is--lame with lots of cigarettes.

Dr. Elizabeth Shaw step out on faith with some cave drawings, Zaddy Weyland funding and a Dora Explorer map to another solar system finding death, destruction, angry android, family issues, Weyland's huge ass ego, abortion and one pissed off humanoid. A great cast: Michael " Magneto" Fassbender, Noomi " Lisbeth" Rapace, Charlize " Furiosa" Theron and Idris " Hold a fart, extremely constipated" Elba bodied this sci-fi/horror movie. Didn't make sense to change the original script and trim the pacing. I think it would have been a better movie. Lots of Biblical references....Jeeesssuuuussssss

His lasting impression is captured in this horror/romance film about betrayal, regret, choices and a long term self healing to self preservation of his vampire life and the stronghold letting go of humanity in the most violent death of his beloved. Louis the most unique and loved character of the movie shows his faults as a human and vampire. And Lestat is a narcissist bum, using Louie as a supply.

One huge cluster F of a horror movie. I disrespected this shit out of the movie because the writer and director are disrespectful to fans of horror, vampires, young black girls, Hispanic culture and LGBTQ+people. A Watpad fanfick at it's failure finest from a self hating dysfunctional black writer. Always something goes wrong, lots of zombies, a crazed crew of former soliders doing hood rat shit. More of a redemption movie, seeing the breakdown of human corrupt morality in a decaying city. Homage to Land of the Dead, Walking Dead and the mall scene from both Dawn of the Dead, respectively.
