Too many Americans embrace conspiracies wherever they turn. Too many Americans refuse to believe basic truths. Our institutions, the media, our politicians, but yes, also "too many Americans" are to blame for this. Our democracy will have a hard time thriving as long as this remains the case.

The Supreme Court today ruled that Texas could continue to enforce their controversial law of arresting people who enter their state illegally. Good. It was the correct ruling. If the Feds aren't doing their job and protecting the border, a state should have the right to.
