Why I LOVED Guillermo Del Toro's FRANKENSTEIN...

Hey guys!!! In episode 7 of this season of The Other Girls Club podcast, we're deep diving into the New Frankenstein film by Guillermo Del Toro!! I loved this film and had so much to say (so much I missed out of the video but I didn't want to make it any longer). But in this episode we discuss this adaptation of the Mary Shelley classic, my personal relationship to the novel and how it helped me process my struggles with my abusive mother. We'll dive into our 3 main characters, their strengths, costume design, and how they're portrayed helps to strengthen the themes of the story.

We'll also discuss the Gothic Renaissance and why it's so important to our current social and political climate.
