Köfte ekmek (Meatball sandwich)


Ingredients:

- 200g Minced Veal (15-20% fat)

- 200g Minced Lamb (15-20% fat)

- 1 Teaspoon Chili Flakes

- 0.5 Teaspoon Oregano

- 2 Garlic cloves

- 1 Tomato

- 1 Red Onion

- 50g Parsley

- 2 Teaspoons Olive Oil

- 2 Sivri chilies

- Sumac

- Salt & Pepper

- Somun bread (or your own choice)


Addons:

- Finely chop the red onlion and parsley and mix it with salt, sumac and olive oil

- Slice the tomato


Instructions:

Köfte:

- Manually Mix the minced Veal and Lamb and the seasoning

(Garlic, Chiliflakes, Oregano, Salt & Pepper)

- Grill the meatballs and the chilies

- Rub the bread on top of the meatballs and put in on the grill for a minute

- Compose you köfte ekmek

- 6 dl Whole fat milk

- 3 dl Flour

- 3 Eggs

- 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt


Garnish:

- 1 Finely chopped red Onion

- 50g dill

- 2 dl sour cream

- 80g your choice of caviar

- 1 lemon


Instructions:

- Mix flour and salt in a bowl

- Whisk in half of the milk and whisk until smooth

- Whisk in the rest of the milk and eggs

- Let the batter rest for about 10 minutes

- Pour over to a 1 liter bottle
