This week we're doing an ALTM Rewind with "Summer House" star, Paige DeSorbo. :) Enjoy!

This week Jamie talks to Paige DeSorbo, co-star of Bravo’s hit show “Summer House.” Jamie and Paige share what was just the right amount of too much this week and their quarantine beauty product favorites.

They then, of course, get into all things Bravo “Summer House.” Paige talks about her fight with Lindsay and addresses whether or not she meddled with Hannah and Luke’s relationship. They then talk about how awful the people on Twitter can be how this season she’s received more troll comments (and how she’s dealing with that drama). After that they share their thoughts on Jessica from “Love Is Blind” and Scheana from “Vanderpump Rules,” and then get straight into Paige’s pantry make out sessions with Carl last summer.

After that Jamie asks Paige about all things Jordan and whether or not she thinks he’s in the closet (not to be confused with the pantry). Paige gives her take on the Jordan and Jules situation and what she would’ve done differently.

Paige then answers a few questions from Jamie’s followers like what surprises her about Carl and whether or not she thinks Jules should’ve been kicked out of the house. Paige talks about the whole “finger bang” inside joke, Amanda quitting her full time job for Lover Boy, her honest opinion on Lindsay, and the Lindsay and Carl situation. We end the episode with a “Summer House” themed game of word association and it’s absolutely hilarious.

74. Chatting with Jessica Baladad, young breast cancer survivor and founder of the Feel For Your Life self-breast exam app

This week Jamie talks with Jessica Baladad, a young breast cancer survivor who is the first to create a self-breast exam app that shows users how to do a self-breast exam, allowing them to monitor and track their changes and lets them set monthly reminders. The app is called Feel For Your Life, and it’s been downloaded more than 7,000 times over the past 6 weeks. Jessica was inspired to create the app after her experience with breast cancer — a nurse practitioner ignored a lump in her breast, but self-exam ended up saving her life at 33 years old.

After going through 16 rounds of chemo, 24 rounds of radiation, a double mastectomy, a hysterectomy and a 10-hour flap reconstruction, Jessica spent life in remission encouraging other women to do self-breast exams and be their best medical advocates. She’s also working with her state senator in Tennessee to write a bill that would require schools to teach students about breast exams, testicular exams and skin exams at age-appropriate levels.

They discuss Jessica's breast cancer journey and how the app and bill came to fruition - she's truly a warrior and amazing person - this episode will inspire everyone!

Jamie talks to Syd Wilder, podcaster, mental health advocate, suicide survivor, actress, comedian and all around kind human being. We start with what was a little too much and just the right amount of too much for both of us the week we recorded. Syd’s title as “Playboy’s top 10 hottest YouTubers” of 2015 and how Jamie’s biggest LA regret is never getting to go to the mansion. We then talk briefly about trolls on the internet, Syd’s grandfather being a Navy SEAL, Jamie’s obsession with “SEAL Team” on CBS, and Jamie’s dad fighting in the Vietnam war and admitting that he had killed people.

They then get into the details of Syd’s marriage and divorce to a man 33 years older than her and what a narcissistic sociopath looks like IRL. Why getting married/getting into a serious relationship is a bad idea when you’re grieving or dealing with loss and the time Jamie went on one date with a male model. After that Syd shares her traumatic experience being 5150’d and admitted to a psych ward after her attempted suicide, the highlight of her career to date and the story about how Jamie’s “life coach” ghosted her after her dad died and then lied about it.

We talk about the debate Jamie got into with someone who tried to convince her that cabbage is a good source of protein, how Amanda got her start at Byrdie.com as a beauty editor, taking a six month leave to write "WORDSLUT" and how she spent the last month of that writing in Italy (!), and managed to have an amazing Italian love affair. We then get into how she’s now writing a pilot for FX based off her book and the process of pitching a TV show and actually getting it made! We then get into her second upcoming book (“Mind F*ck”), which is about how cult leaders use language to grow and manipulate their followers and how the word “ya’all” is actually a fluent solution to how the English lacks a second plural pronoun (and why you shouldn’t feel weird about using it).

Plus, naturally, Jamie asks if Erin’s parents thought she was nuts for marrying a celebrity 20 years older than her. We also discuss Jamie’s PTSD about traveling nurses (Erin used to be one!), why kid zombies wearing pajamas are terrifying, the fact that Erin’s oldest daughter Mia is already an aspiring Instagram influencer making that $$$ and has taken an interest in making sure other children of mom influencers are also getting paid (#getitgirl). Jamie and Erin then go into the loss of Luke Perry has affected their family, Erin’s last convo with Luke, and what a great friend Luke was to Ian. We also campaign for Steve Sanders to have a dog on the new 90210 reboot (i.e. Erin wants Ian’s IRL dog out of the house for the summer), so let’s try to make that happen for her. #SteveSandersNeedsaDog

Jamie and Erin then really embarrass themselves with their lack of knowledge about Marvel and DC as they talk about Ian’s upcoming TV role as Blue Devil.

Jamie then tells the story about when she wasn’t allowed to enter Disney World because she was wearing a Wonder Woman costume. True story. AND then Jamie has FEELINGS on childless adults who love/frequently visit Disneyland here in LA.

Lastly, Erin talks about how she and Ian had to call TMZ and the media when the public school they send their kids to (right here in West Hollywood!) refused to address a major violent bullying issue.
