Brian ran Notts' Centre of Excellence for many years producing some stella names, some of who never even made an appearance for Notts County. These names include Wes Morgan who was released as you'll hear for having a big back side, Jermaine Pennant who was sold to Arsenal, David McGoldrick & Leon Best who was both sold to Southampton & Simon Francis who was also released as a young kid. All of these players went on to play in The Premier League (one even won a Premier League title) & Brian Discusses how they got away among other talents in Notts' youth ranks!

Brian Also made over 130 appearances for Notts in throughout the 1960's playing with the likes of Les Bradd & Brian Stubbs!

Spiess as a young 17 year old at Notts was linked with a lot of big name clubs like Man Utd & made his Notts debut as a goalkeeper aged 18. Spiess went onto make 13 appearances for Notts & also had stints with the likes of Torquay United & Boston United.

Bob had a successful career in football also playing for the likes of Middlesborough, Halifax, Southend & Hartlepool.

Bishop had a very successful career in football after only making his professional debut aged 26. Bishop signed for Notts in 2009, the year we won the League 2 title and went on to make over 170 appearances for Notts during his 4 years at the club.

Life after Notts Bishop went on to have a successful career playing for the likes of Blackpool, Scunthorpe & Mansfield, before recently retiring from football aged 39.

Moniz was appointed Notts manager in April 2015 challenged with 6 games to save the club from relegation but unfortunately wasn't able to do so. The following season began very positive before Moniz's time as manager came to an end in December 2015 following a bad run of results leaving the club in 16th position.

Alex Dyer: Mr Reliable

Dyer played for Notts for over 3 seasons and was part of the historic title winning season in 1998 under Sam Allardyce, making over 80 appearances for the club.

Dyer post career has now gone into management and in December 2019 became the Kilmarnock first team manager in The SPL having previously being assistant manager at the club under Angelo Alessio & now Scotland manager Steve Clarke.

Mark Draper: The Glorious 90's

We chat with Draper about his time & love for the club which we joined from the age of 9 and how he quickly became a fan favourite & legend of the club. During his time at Notts Draper played under the likes of other Notts legends including Neil Warnock & Mick Walker.

Draper after Notts went on to have a very successful career playing for the likes of Leicester City, Aston Villa, Rayo Vallecano & Southampton as well as receiving an England call up by then manager Glenn Hoddle.

Mick Waitt: A Football Miracle

We chat with Waitt who's career is some what of a footballing miracle from playing amateur football in The Notts Alliance & taking voluntary redundancy at the age of 24 to signing for Notts County in the second division scoring 32 times in 88 appearances between 1984-87.

Waitt emigrated to New Zealand in 1992 where incredibly in 2002 he would become the New Zealand National team manager guiding them to a rare victory over Australia & to The 2003 Confederations cup in France. Living prove that miracles do happen in football!
