In August of 1976, four art students paddled a canoe onto Eagle Lake in the remote Allagash Wilderness of Maine. What started as a quiet night of fishing turned into one of the most famous UFO encounters and alleged alien abductions in history.

According to their testimony, the men saw a massive glowing object hovering silently above the treeline. When they flashed an SOS signal toward it, the object responded immediately, racing toward their canoe before projecting a beam of light over the water.

The next thing they remember is standing on the shoreline watching the object leave. Their campfire, which should have burned for hours, had burned down to coals. Nearly three hours were missing from their memory.

More than a decade later, hypnotic regression sessions revealed chilling memories of being taken aboard a craft, examined by strange beings, and returned to Eagle Lake with no recollection of what happened.

The Allagash Abductions became one of the most documented multi witness UFO cases ever investigated, complete with polygraph tests, independent witness drawings, and a 700 page case investigation.

For more than twenty years, the United States government funded a classified program that attempted to use psychic abilities for intelligence gathering.

It was called Project Stargate.

Beginning in the early 1970s at the height of the Cold War, the CIA and U.S. Army quietly invested millions of dollars into researching remote viewing. The alleged ability to perceive distant locations using only the human mind. The program moved through multiple code names including SCANATE, GRILL FLAME, CENTER LANE, SUN STREAK, and finally STAR GATE. It operated out of an old wooden barracks at Fort Meade, Maryland. It was classified as a Special Access Program. And it was briefed to Congress twice a year.

The goal was simple in theory. Determine whether consciousness could access information across time and space. If it could, weaponize it.

In this episode of Paranormal Directive 13, we investigate the full history of Project Stargate. From the Soviet psychic arms race panic of the 1970s to the operational claims of locating downed aircraft and describing secret submarines. We break down the structure of remote viewing, the concept of the Matrix, ideograms, Analytical Overlay, and the six stage training protocol developed at Stanford Research Institute.

Then we examine the most controversial session in the entire archive. The May 22, 1984 Mars remote viewing transcript. A session that described pyramids, a dying civilization, tall thin beings in stasis chambers, and a scouting party that may have traveled to Earth. Most dismissed him as a hoax.

On August 5th, 1993, a group of seven experienced hikers set out across a high ridge in the Khamar-Daban mountains of southern Siberia. They were trained. They were prepared. They were led by a veteran instructor who had guided expeditions for decades.

Within an hour, six of them were dead.

According to the only survivor, a seventeen-year-old girl named Valentina, the collapse happened fast. Too fast. One hiker began screaming and convulsing. Foam poured from his mouth. Something darker followed. Moments later, their leader went down. Then another. Then another. People ran. People hid. One woman beat her head against a rock.
