The lads were just as stunned as everyone else in football when they learned of Carlo Ancelotti's sudden departure from Everton, lured back to Real Madrid seemingly out of the blue.

But, once the dust had settled, there was a sense that it may not be as catastrophic as it first seemed and perhaps there are one or two reasonable options to take the club forward.
