We chat about the trauma that continued long after birth, and how spirituality became the thread that carried her through.</p><br><p>Georgia met Varrsha by chance at a market over the smell of incense, and within minutes they were talking about spirituality, motherhood and surviving the unimaginable.</p><br><p>At 23, Varsha's pregnancy took a devastating turn. What began as a normal pregnancy quickly became a life-threatening battle with severe pre-eclampsia. She was repeatedly told she and her baby wouldn't survive. Doctors refused to treat her.
