He wanted fame and fortune fast, but his parents wanted him to work hard&nbsp;&nbsp;at his studies and&nbsp;&nbsp;in the family's law firm to succeed. His fast track plan was to murder his mother, father and sister then inherit the family fortune. His first attempt was poison, but when that failed he laid in wait, murdering them all with bludgeons and knives.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The story he spun to police was of an innocent young man confronted by an horrific and racially motivated crime. In his role as grieving son and brother, Sef sang at their funeral. But police didn’t believe a word of it and methodically unpicked his alibis and stories. It wasn’t until almost fortnight later her&nbsp;death was&nbsp;officially a murder - by strangulation - rather than misadventure. Her road to this brutal end began when her boyfriend Warren Lanfranchi was shot to death by Roger Rogerson in June 1981.&nbsp;She bravely took on Rogerson and others, in the media to seek&nbsp;justice for&nbsp;Warren and expose endemic corruption in NSW. </p><br><p>Initially derided as a sex worker and heroin addict, she proved to be brave, articulate and fearless. Her road to this brutal end began when her boyfriend Warren Lanfranchi was shot to death by Roger Rogerson in June 1981.&nbsp;She bravely took on Rogerson and others, in the media to seek&nbsp;justice for&nbsp;Warren and expose endemic corruption in NSW. </p><br><p>Initially derided as a sex worker and heroin addict, she proved to be brave, articulate and fearless. The public listened. When her friend and fellow whistleblower Lynette Woodward disappeared, she kept up the pressure. Her work was a catalyst for media and public awareness of a stink in this state.
