The Towering Inferno (1974)

Before the 90’s and the 00’s, movie studios were dropping disaster movies like Diddy was dropping music videos. One of the biggest hits during the 70’s was The Towering Inferno. It had several high profiled stars and a lot of new and older stars. Not only is it scored by John Williams, but the effects of the time do stand the test of time.

Dirty Harry (1971)

We start our new direction with touching on the seminal film that launched the “rogue genre” that has been a staple in pop culture for over fifty years. Not only did he become a major Hollywood player but it launched a genre that is still used today.

Dirty Harry has many political tones about liberal policies. However, if you can skip past them, it is actually a really good movies.
