Here this true Yorkshire lass tells Matt and Christine about her journey from fashion student with a dream to having her own range of fabrics, wallpapers, homewear and as she announces here,  even a new swimwear  line after she became a finalist on the Interior Design Masters programme with Alan Carr four years ago.

At the time Siobhan had a corporate job with the NHS and had to sneak holidays and unpaid leave to film, but it was a decision that changed her life.

For six years she was a key player  the rugby pitch with Bradford Bulls and Leeds Rhinos, as well as representing her country for England.  Today she is a familiar face as a sports commentator on Channel Four, Sky and the BBC and was a key member of the Olympic commentary team this summer.

This week Matt and Christine chat to presenter, broadcaster and DJ Stephanie Hirst about her extraordinary and inspiring life. 

In a powerful interview, Stephanie opens up about the internal torment she felt since childhood, which led her to become the successful woman she is today, all while having a career in the public eye as a much loved radio host from Yorkshire.

Stephanie is witty and honest about the realities of her life growing up in the South Yorkshire traditional heartlands, and her message to “Believe Achieve”, which she advocates through public speaking, is empowering and moving.

Andrew was hit from behind by a wagon as he stood by his motorbike on the hard shoulder of the A64 in 2022.

He was catapulted into the middle of the busy carriageway and was lucky to survive.  In the end Andrew needed his leg amputating and has since tried to re build his life, becoming an international Padel playing champion and  a vocal campaigner for Disability Action Yorkshire.  

He tells Matt and Christine how he coped, how he is trying to turn his experience into a positive force to help others with disabilities and how he now feels he wouldn’t change what happened to him because of the new meaning it has brought to his life.

brand-new podcast, and You Tube channel “Yorkshire Talks”.

Each week they’ll be talking to Yorkshire people and showing off the quirky side of God’s Own County.

In this first episode they chat to You Tube sensation Danny

Malin, the host of the hugely popular “Rate My Takeaway”

channel. Barnsley born Danny and his team launched “Rate

My Takeaway” during Covid and the channel now has over a

staggering 750 thousand subscribers. Danny starts each

episode with his catch phrase “Now then Guys – how ya doin?” as he travels the country (sometimes the world) with his trusty fold up table and Yorkshire humour, trying out takeaways of every kind and getting to know new people along the way.

He joins Christine and Matt with his wife Sophie and baby girl Athena. Danny opens up for the very first time about the

difficult challenges in his life including emotional and mental health hurdles, online trolling and juggling a busy, blended family life

Christine is a well-known face on TV in Yorkshire and
