In this episode, Opulence and Nisha talk about their experiences of grief around losing a pet companion. Opulence shares a couple experiences of losing pet companions and how they coped with their grief. Nisha shares about the anticipatory grief that she experiences with thinking about the inevitable death of her two beloved cats. The grief that is experienced around losing a pet is a perfect example of how connected grief is to love. Pets are a source of unconditional love in our lives and the experience of losing them is unlike anything else. In this week's episode, Opulence and Nisha chat about one of their shared loves, CHEESE! As much as they both love cheese, Nisha and Opulence have experienced grief around cheese. Nisha shares her experience with being in a relationship with someone who doesn't like cheese and how she didn't know how cheese connects her to others until it wasn't there. Opulence shares about how they have had to let go of cheese because of how it makes them feel physically and the grief that comes with that.
