			<description><![CDATA[<p>When everything online feels like a grift these days, how do you know if you’re just contributing to the storm of negative emotions like fear and despondency, or actually being helpful with what you share?</p><br><p>It’s a *VERY* thin line.</p><br><p>And with the decline of critical thinking and media savvy and the rise of AI slop and fake news, it’s easy to be manipulated by the algorithm and comms plans of the rich and powerful.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><br><p>I worry about how much negative information I share online, mostly because I’ve been told it’s loads 😊 but know that without knowledge; without awareness; without community of information - we make worse choices.&nbsp;When we know what’s going on, we vote for hopeful candidates.&nbsp;We demand more.&nbsp;We change our habits.&nbsp;We reject the status quo.&nbsp;But how do you do it with a bit of glitter? 🤔</p><br><p>How do we engage in conversations about what’s going on in the world around us and instead of falling into stasis, how do we drive action? How do we reject inevitability as fact and instead find the belief that we can be part of change for better?&nbsp;How do we become hopeful?</p><br><p>I was chatting with James Kavanagh about this in my DM’s about this last week so I thought it would be a good place to start Lucky Bag.&nbsp;It’s episode 0.</p><br><p>Loads of people told me I wouldnt be able to keep this to 5 minutes.&nbsp;They were right.&nbsp;This time.&nbsp;Hoping to hit that goal next week with episode 1.&nbsp;Hope is an action!</p><p><br></p><hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast.
