Steve Leckman is the Director of Programmes Coyote / Coyote Programs. Coyote Programs offer kids and teens the chance to get out in nature, have an adventure and take risks (while still supervised by skilled and knowledgeable grownup guides). They offer after school programs, daycamps, mentoring and getaway camping trips where kids experience screen free time in nature and foster creativity, resilience and to quote one of the kids “skills they might need in the zombie apocalypse.” If this sounds amazing (because it is), Coyote Programs is gearing up for their summer registration period. A few months ago we had Lucie Gee and Costa Tsimiklis on the show to talk about the debut edition of the burgeoning improv festival “Le Grand Yes And” – well guess what? They’re back at it with a new edition festival they’re calling “Le Mini Grand Yes And” – this springtime edition is focused more on producer-centric improv shows (the main edition will be focused more on improv troupes). To begin with, let’s just toot our own horn a little bit, shall we? Between this show, Go Plug Yourself and all the festival shows we do in a year we ran up about 30,000 downloads in 2025. I know it’s a drop in the bucket in the big podcasting game but even that modest number is big enough to make me smile a little. Thank you rare listener who reads the show notes, we do it for you.

So after making a little room for our personal 2025s we dive into some of the headlines from the world of sports and politics. The politics talk bums us out so then we talk about more fun things like movies, TV shows and video games. Those were a lot more fun.

We keep the general theme of “year in review” going over on Garbage Time. Scott and Keith talk about some of the albums and concerts they enjoyed in 2025 and then turn their gaze to the future to figure out what movies and shows might pique their interest in 2026.

It’s time for our most chaotic episode of the year! It’s the Go Plug Yourself shit show featuring too many people to mention but I’m going to try anyways – starting with my amazing co-hosts Walter J. Lyng, Lawrence Corber, Troy Stark, my wife Sarah and Chris Venditto, Go Plug Yourself regulars like Vance Michel, The Green Phantom, Mike Carrozza some cameos by Zak Kik, Shosho Abatouk, Harvey the Dog, some guy named Colin or Connor and I’m pretty sure Hasher was there for a second too. The audio quality is always a little all over the place with these bad boys and this year is no exception, I tried to level it off a little (our tendency to yell loudly when anyone showed up was particularly brutal on the ear drums) but it is what it is they say. So load this episode up and put it on a speaker so the whole house feels like a party where you’re not allowed to talk. In fairness, nobody is really “allowed” to talk when we’re all together like this. It’s just about being the loudest person in any given moment.

Deal with it!

The three of us break down the first 25% of the season for our beloved Montreal Canadiens who are quickly becoming one of the most exciting iterations of this team that we’ve had in recent memory. We also spend a good chunk of time celebrating the woes of the Toronto Maple Leafs. We all knew the wheels were going to come off but so far it’s been even more dramatic than even my wildest predictions.

We talk about Team Canada, which Habs might make the cut for not only Team Canada but who else will be heading to Milan for their respective countries and Scott pretty much fixes the All-Star game.

We close things off talking about the Milwaukee Brewers and Chris proclaims the MLB playoffs and World Series to be the most entertaining post-season in sports.

When is it ok to show Thanatomorphose to your kid? Probably never?

Weapons was pretty great and I can’t wait for Jono to watch Barbarian so we can dutifully compare and contrast. If Zach Cregger was a recording artist, Weapons would be an excellent second album. Which we know from many, many subpar sophomore albums is still quite the accomplishment. Barbarian is still the original though, the first break out into the world of horror film making and I think Weapons may suffer slightly from having too many echoes of Barbarian to truly break out and stand on its own.

Still definitely worth the watch though, don’t get me wrong.

As you do towards the end of October we watched a bunch of other horror movies. Scott showed Prince of Darkness to his kid which is exciting, while I watched Oddity, Wolf Man and started into Welcome to Derry. Tis the season after all. Finally we wonder out loud if Stephen King is the most recognizable author on the planet.

We will return to (slightly) less horror-centric content next episode probably. Maybe.

CULT PLAY from Imago Theatre is having its world premiere at the Segal Center next week (tickets and showtimes here) and honestly it sounds like an incredible production. Playwright Scout Rexe (or Sax as their friends call them) got sucked into cult documentaries during the pandemic and began to wonder what it would take for them to be sucked into a cult. But we did it. 

The fact that in the ensuing 13 years Walter would go on to hang out with Mick Foley multiple times, including opening for him a few years back at the Montreal Comiccon is extra crazy.

We’ve gone from a few hundred (if we were lucky) downloads a month to several thousand. We’ve grown as a show and having amazing guests like Mick Foley definitely helped put us on the map.

I don’t think I’ll ever get over being allowed to just set up a computer at a Just for Laughs party and record with whoever wanted to chat. The other crazy thing is that at the time of recording Walter and I were both still in our 20s and Mick was in his 40s. Time flies. 

Anyways, the more things change, the more things stay the same. Mick Foley is back in Montreal returning to the historic Café Cleopatra TOMORROW NIGHT October 2nd. On this week's episode Lawrence Corber and I are joined by actor, comedian, improviser and all around rule follower Julie Santini. We asked her Pat Guay's question from a few episodes ago: What annoys you most in your day-to-day life?

Julie Santini is one of Montreal’s exciting up and coming multidisciplinary talents. Having acted and improvised before she’s recently taken to the stage alone as a stand up comedy and is currently honing her craft all over town. It’s wild to me that there are wrestlers defending Raja Jackson here but I’m not surprised. Wrestlers are fucking weird.

I guess it’s kind of nice that Rampage Jackson has come around to the fact that his son is a piece of shit?

Meanwhile on a brand new episode of Garbage Time Scott talks about introducing his son to horror films. He showed the kiddo Alien and Aliens which lead (naturally) into a full re-watch of Stranger Things. We then wonder if the final season will be any good and Scott thinks the internet has turned on Millie Bobby Brown. Whatever, Keith pre-ordered that Hellfire D&D module since he thinks it will be cool to sit on his shelf. Don’t tell Sarah.

Back in 2016 we were lucky enough to sit down with (then) up and coming indie wrestler Speedball Mike Bailey, back in town after some successful runs in PWG and AAA. Mike was about to be defending his IWS World Title against former WWE Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio Jr. at Metropolis. 

Now theyr're a regular on AEW! They challenged the Hurt Syndicate at All-In Texas for the AEW World Tag Team Titles in front of like 30,000 people.

That's crazy man, crazy.

We kicked off with my festival marathon: Osheaga and ÎleSoniq back-to-back, five days of crowds, dancing, and metro hell. Pro tip: alternate shoes and insoles, or your feet will revolt after 100k steps (dancing not included).

No Jono around means there’s nobody to stop Scott and I from talking a LOT about comics. We geeked out on X-Men tropes, mutant madness, and the Krakoa era: resurrection drama, timey-wimey futures and that bonkers “X of Swords” tournament scattering across titles. Weirdly Scott decides to ship Jean Grey and Steve Rogers and I don’t hate it.

Scott also starts fancasting Excalibur mostly from the Ted Lasso cast: Phil Dunster as Captain Britain, Juno Temple as Meggan and Heather Waddingham as Saturnyne.

I told you this was a nerdy one.

Meanwhile: ChatGPT-5 dropped unannounced, killing old models and your “clanker” buddies. It’s drier, sloppier, sacrifices accuracy for speed—devastating if you’re using it for therapy, RPGs, or brainstorming like Scott.

Finally, presumably out of fear that we were going to make him watch it for a “Best Movie Ever” – Scott watched Amazon’s “War of the Worlds”—Ice Cube as a solo analyst fighting data-eating aliens via socials and drones. Is it as bad as the internet says? Yes and no.

Meanwhile over on Garbage Time, Scott and I dig into some of the worst powers in Marvel comics sticking with our comic book theme. I genuinely feel like we might have done this before but I don’t remember some of the characters were spoke about so maybe it was a different list? Who knows, man? The World’s Smallest Comedy Festival is back for the third edition! World’s Smallest Comedy Festival 3 starts August 11 and runs all the way through until August 18. There are at least 15 shows that you can check out.

All three of these wonderful comedians will be popping up all over the World’s Smallest Comedy Festival but if you want a special treat you should head over to Hurley’s at 10 pm on August 12 for “Look Who’s Talking” which will feature both Go Plug Yourself’s own Chris Venditto and Lawrence Corber up on stage being some of the best crowd work comedians in the city.

Sarah and I saw 29 bands (I think) collectively over the weekend and went to two afterparties because we are crazy people. But we lived to tell the tale as we always do and now it’s time for the comedown. We talk through all the shows we saw this weekend going and rank our favourites for your listening pleasure.

All You Need Is Kill, a vibrant anime adaptation of the light novel that inspired Edge of Tomorrow, flips the script by focusing on Rita this time around. Its fluid, music video-esque animation dazzles, though the third act drags (a little) with over-explained science. A must-watch for anime fans, it’s a breezy 82 minutes but might not hook non-anime geeks due to some quirky anime tropes.

$POSITIONS is a cringe-inducing, anxiety-fueled ride through middle-America’s underbelly. Following crypto-obsessed Mike, it’s a “torture porn” portrait of bad decisions, addiction, and Midwestern struggles. Michael Kunicki’s performance as the calm-yet-doomed protagonist balances humor and heartbreak, making it a brutal, engaging watch for fans of Silicon Valley or Euphoria’s darker vibes.

The School Duel, set in a dystopian Florida, is a gut-punch dark comedy where kids identified as potential school shooters are pitted in a patriotic “duel” for military ranks and family cash. Shot in stark black-and-white, it tempers its violence while delivering a scathing critique of American extremism. Kue Lawrence’s haunting performance as a misguided teen steals the show, appealing to fans of Battle Royale who can stomach its near-future realism.

Grab your coffee and settle in for our latest Fantasia pod, where Sarah and Keith dish on three wild Fantasia flicks over a morning brew. Let’s dive into the chaos.

First up, I Fell in Love with a Z-Grade Director from Brooklyn. Shina, a jaded Japanese movie star, rediscovers her passion making a gloriously trashy horror flick with Jack, a neurotic Woody Allen-esque director (played by Estevan Muñoz). It’s a love letter to Troma-style schlock, the “film within a film” is shot on a junky hi-8 camera for $500. Perfect for Fantasia nerds who dig heartwarming, low-budget chaos.

Next, I Live Here Now, Julie Pacino’s debut, shot on vibrant 35mm. Lucy Fry’s Rose grapples with childhood trauma and an unexpected pregnancy in a surreal, David Lynch-ian hotel. Body image metaphors, creepy hotel staff, and a standout glass-eating scene (with killer sound design) make it a haunting thriller. Keith calls it a must-see for Lynch fans—intense, weird, and empowering.

Finally, Hellcat, another world premiere, traps Dakota Gorman’s Lena in a moving camper, injured and maybe kidnapped. The constant rattle of beaded curtains and a mysterious driver crank the tension. The host of a late-night paranormal radio show (voiced by SNL’s James Austin Johnson as the host) keeps you guessing. It’s a tight, twisty 90-minute thriller with not too much gore, just psychological dread. Sarah’s all in for this sleeper hit—fingers crossed it gets a wider release so you can check it out!.

Both Hellcat and I Live Here Now were world premieres so you don’t want to miss our takes on these two films which were definitely standouts so far for us at this year’s Fantasia Festival.

First up, Redux Redux, the Canadian premiere from the McManus brothers, who we’ve been fans of since their gem Funeral Kings (still a top-tier fave) and the spooky Block Island Sound. This sci-fi thriller stars Michaela McManus as Irene, a woman dimension-hopping to avenge her daughter’s murderer—hundreds, maybe thousands, of times. The multiverse mechanics? They’re there, but don’t expect a science lecture. It’s a plot device, not the point. The focus is Irene’s relentless revenge cycle and her struggle to break free from it. Stella Marcus shines in a role we won’t spoil, but trust us, her performance adds layers the trailer doesn’t hint at. With sharp dialogue, quick gory kills, and subtle world-building, it’s a tight 1-hour-45-minute thrill ride. Not straight horror, but a bloody, character-driven sci-fi thriller that’s beautifully shot. Catch it on Shudder or in theaters if it gets a wider release—you won’t regret it.

Then there’s Every Heavy Thing, a Fantasia Underground pick that screams lo-fi, 70s film grit. Joe, played by Josh Fadem, is an ad salesman who witnesses a murder and gets tangled in sci-fi weirdness and paranoia. The film’s retro look—think film grain, not cheap digital—mixes cell phones with house phones, leaving you wondering, “What year is this?” Dark comedy and absurdist humor shine through, poking at gun nuts and tech billionaires. It’s a shoestring-budget vibe done deliberately, perfect for genre buffs who love a quirky, unsettling B-movie. Not for everyone, but a must for Fantasia diehards.

Both films are Fantasia at its best—bold, weird, and unforgettable. Check ‘em out!

Noise, a Korean ghost story directed by Kim Soo-jin follows Joo-young, a deaf woman, and her sister Joo-hee, who’s obsessed with the noisy upstairs neighbor. The film kicks off with Joo-hee’s erratic behavior leading Joo-young on a tense search through their apartment complex. It’s a slow-burn horror with suspenseful moments, a few jump scares, and clever sound design. High points include Joo-young’s hearing aid toggling off and on and voice-to-text phone use, amplifying the creepiness. Sarah recommends it for ghost story fans, noting its 90-minute runtime and accessibility for those not into intense horror—perfect for teens or horror newbies.

I Am Frankelda, a Mexican stop-motion feature by Roy and Arturo Ambriz, is a vibrant, musical, stop motion film set in 19th-century Mexico and a nightmare realm. Young Frankelda’s imagination fuels this fantastical world, where she’s a horror writer linked to a realm powered by nightmares. The young prince, Herneval, seeks her help to revive the realm’s fading creativity. The film’s intricate sets and unique character designs—like spider people and two-headed dragons—are stunning, though the fast-paced dialogue and fantastical names demand quick reading. Sarah suggests it’s kid-friendly for strong readers (the subtitles go by very fast), though the 113-minute runtime and dense dialogue might challenge younger viewers. Ideal for Spanish speakers or stop-motion enthusiasts.

So we’ve had Tyler Lemco on the show before. The man is one of the creative legends of Montreal so he’s always got something new and exciting to plug. He ran for mayor of Montreal! And that’s not even close to the best thing he’s done in the last few years.

Digging into the Go Plug Yourself archives, Tyler Lemco has been on the show 3 times as a solo guest, once as a co-guest and featured on at least 2 episodes of the Holiday Shit Show. Once again filed in the “holy shit we’ve been doing this a long time” folder: The first time Tyler was on the show was in 2013. Simpler times.

Tyler’s latest creative endeavour is bringing out your creative side. That’s right, you. He’s running “Dr Lemco’s Creative Club” which is a series of events that he’s running around the city where you can show up and do something creative. Mess around with paint, make some bracelets, let your creative energies run wild. He’s doing them all over town so you should head to tlem.co and check out the calendar for when he will be in your neighbourhood.

Finally, Dr Tyler Lemco is having a vernissage this Sunday July 13th at4710 Rue Saint-Ambroise Montréal, from 4 pm to 8 pm so you should check that out to.

Just who IS Erik Intrevado? Well, he's one of the up and coming comedy producers in Montreal and he happened to run a show at a little place you may have heard of called the Peel Pub. You may have heard the news that after 60 years of being in business the Peel Pub suddenly closed its door this past weekend. Peel Pub closing left people out of work, a lot of people owed money and Erik without a venue for his open mic night (not to mention some of his gear is currently locked up inside of the building with no certainty of ever being returned).

Walter, Troy and I set up at the back of a bar that ISN'T going anywhere (our beloved Grumpy's) to talk with Erik Intrevado about producing comedy shows, condo conspiracy theories and trying to figure out just what is becoming of the fair city of Montreal.

The Montreal Fringe Festival is well underway and runs straight until June 15th and is jam packed with theater, music and good times.

It’s that time of year again! The Montreal Fringe Festival is back! As we so often are, Sarah and I were joined by Amy Blackmore aka the “Queen of Fringe to talk about this year’s edition of the Fringe Festival. We also reminiscence a little about the fact that this will be the last year where the Fringe calls Mainline Theatre it’s home.

The current incarnation of Mainline will be shutting it’s doors at the end of the festival and maybe we get a little emotional about it ok? Don’t judge us. Amy Blackmore tells us some of her favorite stories about the space over the last 20 years and they’re really amazing. So much of English theatre in Montreal seems to orbit around the Mainline Theatre, it’s a little crazy to think what life will be like without it around (but don’t worry – it will be back and better than ever sooner than you think).

I really can’t express enough how happy the “Chicken Jockey” trend makes me. We talk a little bit in the episode how it seems like relatively harmless fun and pales in comparison to some of the horror stories we heard back in the day during showings of the first Jackass movie. Well, clearly the kids of today heard us trash talk their shenanigans and things have… escalated. Check this video out for clips of people sneaking in a live chicken and setting off actual fireworks in the movie theatre. Yet it still makes me happy. Why? Maybe I’m just happy these Mindcraft nerds are getting out of the house and doing something real for once in their lives, ok?

Meanwhile, the fast we move on from the AI Studio Ghibli trend the better. You know it’s a super cool fun trend when the White House is in on the trend showing a picture of a woman being deported. Fun and cool!

Finally, I’m catching up on Daredevil: Born Again over on Disney+ and I’m not really sure why it pissed people off. It’s good. You should watch it. It feels a lot like the Netflix Daredevil series which was easily one of the best Marvel things around. Maybe I’ll be finished it by the time next episode rolls around? Or maybe not.

Meanwhile – over on Garbage Time, we talk quite a bit of hockey talk. From the Montreal Canadiens playoff aspirations to Alex Ovechkin now holding the NHL all time goal-scoring title. To offset all the sports talk we then talk about House of X and Powers of X and you won’t believe how you’re supposed to pronounce “Powers of X” considering it’s an X-Men book. Just kidding, we kick off the show by talking about how Pierre Polievre looks like Ditto from Detective Pikachu trying to look like a human:

I’m now pretty convinced that the leader of the Conservative party is a Pokémom trying to infiltrate our government. 

The answer to the first question is probably a no, by the way. The first hour or so of Anora has a lot of sex. Like, more than you think. Ask yourself “Do I want to watch the son of a Russian oligarch and an exotic dancer do a lot of drugs and have a lot of sex with my mom?” and then make that decision for yourself.

From now on my own personal measure of success will be based on Jim Carrey getting the script for Sonic 3 printed on gold. Someone will be like “hey, we want you to play in our Dungeons & Dragons game” and I will say “only if you give me a character sheet made of real gold.” And then THEY WILL.

A couple of weeks ago we shared an episode from a few years ago that we did with Dave Kaufman – Dave’s a political expert and has recently been turning his attention to writing about politics with a few recent articles over at The Progressive Magazine. In case you haven’t noticed – it’s kind of a spicy time politically these days with the Trump presidency down South and the Canadian election just a few weeks away. So it was high time that we had Dave Kaufman back on the show proper.

It’s not all doom and gloom – we talk about music, baseball and if we’re being totally honest – quite a bit of doom and gloom. The rise of fascism kind of does that, doesn’t it? We hope you enjoy the show anyways and hopefully it provides a little clarity of what’s going in the world. It was cathartic for Chris and I at least.

Sarah Warren’s mom passed away, so she did what we all do: go through your dead mom’s cookbook and make a bunch of the recipes with other comedians. Grief can be funny like that. Walter J. Lyng and Troy Stark join me for this episode with Sarah Warren and we talk about grief, moms, recipes, handwriting, music and how Troy lived down the street from one of the guys from 54-40. Listen, I had no idea who 54-40 was until I found out they were the guys who did “Ocean Pearl”, “I Go Blind” AND “One Day In Your Life.” All of those songs are very familiar to me but until we recorded this episode I would have never been able to tell you that they were by the same band and that band was called 54-40.

But wait, have we seen any of the movies celebrated at the Oscars? Well, we’ve seen some so there’s that. Unfortunately the Scar Princess or whatever Zack Snyder called that Star Wars ripoff wasn’t even nominated for any Oscars so our area of expertise got quite a bit more narrow.

Don’t worry, we go back to the well of Marvel comic books and movies in the back half and I’m actually kind of excited for the new Thunderbolts movie. I do think Marvel has inadvertently made the Thunderbolts the new main characters of the MCU and as a fan of the series I’m here for it.

As I mention in the show, you should really check out the good stuff being put out over at Second Wind and The Backdrop’s take on Captain America: Brave New World is as good a place to start as any.

Now that the Trump Tariffs aren’t supposed to kick in for another 30 days we just all moved onto the next thing which is *checks notes* permanently taking over Gaza? No, that can’t be right.

Wait, Khruangbin has been around for years – I’ve seen them multiple times. They’ve got 5 studio albums and 6 EPs – Texas Moon with Leon Bridges made No. 23 on the Billboard 200 back in 2022. How are they a new artist?

So about the award: The Grammy Award for Best New Artist has been awarded since the 2nd Annual Grammy Awards in 1960 (except in 1967)[1] “for a new artist who releases, during the Eligibility Year, the first recording which establishes the public identity of that artist.”

Basically the Grammy’s are like “well it’s new for us so it’s new.”

13 years ago we were all much younger people who were much more plugged into the pop-culture zeitgeist of the world. Now? We are old men in our 40s. Two of us are parents and Keith has spent most of his time playing video games and reading comic books from when he was in high-school.

Perhaps we are not in the best position to provide any sort of quantitative judgement upon what the “best of 2024” even looks like. So we talk about Marvel Snap and League of Legends instead.

“Faker is GOAT in a gigabanger” is a sentence I want to send back in time 100 years to see what they can make of it.

To close it all off we talk a little about the conviction of 51 rapists in France and whether or not Trudeau steps down as Prime Minister. You know, holiday stuff.

So breaking slightly from tradition I must first admit that Jared Wilder is not from Montreal. However, he co-hosts a football show over on YouTube called “In the Trenches” with our very own Chris Venditto so we’re going to consider him an honorary Montrealer for the purposes of this show.

To say that Scott really enjoys Transformers is an understatement. He clarifies in this episode that he is really only a mega-fan of what’s known as “Transformers G1” which specifically refers to the original run of toys and accompanying cartoons from 1984 to 1990 (or 1992, depending on how you’re counting). But still – that man has seen Transformers: The Movie well over a hundred times. So it was with mild trepidation that we entered into a viewing of 2024’s “Transformers: One”.

But guess what? It was pretty good. Was it the greatest thing to ever happen to transforming robots? No. But few things are in the last 20 to 30 years. It was an effective telling of a bit of Transformers lore that most fans might only have a cursory knowledge of. Namely the story of the friendship between Orion Pax and D-16 that would devolve into the generational conflict between Optimus Prime and the Autobots against Megatron and the Decepticons. That’s good shit man. It’s a good version of a story that only the most diehard fans are even aware of.

You know what wasn’t as entertaining as Transformers: One? That Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight, the less said about that the better. So obviously we devote like 20 minutes to it.

Scott also shares his professional “comic book guy” opinion on Deadpool & Wolverine and his takes are so hot you’ll have to listen to the episode to find out what they are.

Meanwhile, over on Garbage Time – Keith is almost finished with Peter David’s 12 year run on The Incredible Hulk so we talk about that. Scott finished off Agatha All Along and makes Keith try to guess that wacky and wild origins of the comic character Jimmy Woo. I think the shortlist here includes Longlegs and maybe Cuckoo but The Substance is an easy pick over both of those films if only because it is more interesting to look at it and sticks with you in a much, much more visceral way. The Substance also has a lot more to actually “say” than those other films and that counts for a lot too.

Donald Trump is going to be President again and there was kind of no way we weren’t going to talk about it a little, but I promise we try not to wallow too much and keep it as light as we can. Also, we recorded this on Monday so when Keith was like “Elon Musk might definitely be a part of this government”, it hadn’t happened yet. Womp womp. He gets his own whole new department of the government! What a fun and cool turn of events!

Look, there’s no good way to say this – Jono is off taking care of his sick family so it’s left to Scott and I to hold down the fort that is the 9to5 Entertainment System. What does that mean for you, the listener? It means we’re going to get really, really nerdy about comic books.

We talk briefly about Scott’s role as the Ever-Lovin’ Blue Eyed Thing in the Avengers Audio Drama (check out his episode here) before getting into some really deep Marvel comic publishing history. We can all go back to our lives now and try to cling to the memories of Osheaga as they fade away like dimming stage lights. Sarah and I took in an absurd amount of bands this year and managed to drag our tired asses over to the Ed Banger 20th Anniversary Party on Saturday night like complete lunatics (watching a back-to-back set of Busy P and Tiga took my right back to my 20s).

Osheaga flew by this year – probably because there was barely a minute between acts we wanted to catch. It was like we got into the gate on Friday afternoon and a long blink later we were cheering for the closing moments of Justice. We saw so many bands and now is the time where we run through the schedule and share our takes with you. Who was awesome? Who sucked? Who are we excited to see next time they come to town? Listen now!

Anyways, this is it until next year family. At least for Osheaga. There’s still plenty of concerts that you can and should be going to all year long between now and then.

Osheaga 2025 takes place August 1st to August 3rd next year and we’ll see you all there!

Look, I’m fully aware that this isn’t actually episode 300 – that milestone quietly came and went probably sometime back in 2023. But we didn’t put a number on every episode of “Go Quarantine Yourself” during the pandemic, we don’t put numbers on the Shit Shows for the most part and whenever we just catch up with the hosts we don’t usually attach an official number to those episodes either. So whatever man – it counts! 300 more!

We recorded this one live (pal) as a part of the World’s Smallest Comedy Festival that has been running for the past week and a half and it was a blast. We had friend of the show Alex Rose come on to talk a little about the Fantasia Festival as it enters it’s final weekend and Walter J. Lyng and Lawrence Corber joined me for all the fun at Hurley’s.
