Today on the show we are joined by very special guest Johnny Yong Bosch. Long on my list of dream guests this is a man who's career I have followed for a very long time. Playing one of the villains in the new Isaac Florentine movie Hellfire, Johnny also pulls double or triple duty as the fight choreographer and part 2nd unit director. JYB is best known for his time and work on Power Rangers but in the world of DTV action he has cult classics such as Broken Path and Deathgrip to his name.

This is the second of two interviews for the movie Hellfire with the first being the previous episode and it was with the director Isaac Florentine.

Kenji has also moved into directing with the successful comedy, Enter The Fat Dragon (2020) but all eyes are firmly fixed on his upcoming move The Furious which should be coming out later this year.

Today on the show we have the very definition of the term one off. Talking specifically about a 22 minute episode of Power Rangers, not something we are likely to repeat but this one is special. Forever Red was the 10th anniversary celebration of the show made during the final American made season of the show and the final show made during Saban's original ownership.

Forever Red brings 10 Red Rangers, 1 from each of the previous seasons and teams them up to take down a previous villain in the form of the Machine Empire. This type of format has never been repeated and makes this episode stand out despite 30 years worth of stories to compare with. The episode was also directed by the legendary Koichi Sakamoto and features a lot of great action in the second half of the episode.

Joining me today we have Amit Bhaumik who was at the time the head writer for the show and is the writer of this episode. We hear how he came up with the idea for the shows structure, some stories during production and also go off topic a little bit. You expect it at this point right?

To commemorate that fact Hasbro and Netflix have given us Once and Always, a 55 minute special reunion, epilogue and potential setup for what's next for many of the characters that we last saw over 27 years ago. At the time of recording the MMPR special was number 3 on Netflix's US film charts and number 5 in the UK.

Today is not an episode I'd ever thought I'd have to make. Joining me today we have my good friend DeeBeeGeek to discuss the life and impact of actor and martial artist Jason David Frank. Best known for portraying the role of Tommy Oliver in the Power Rangers franchise, starting off as the Green Ranger in the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in 1993 he then went on to become the White Ranger, Red Zeo Ranger, Red Turbo Ranger and the Black Dino Thunder Ranger.

This is a celebration of his time on this earth, sharing stories, memories and a brief summary of some of those memorable moments from his acting career. He meant a lot to so many people. He will be missed.
