He began writing for theatre in 2000, and has been working professionally in the field since 2003. He is a member of the “New Drama” movement of contemporary Russian playwrights. Mikhail is the author of screenplays and award-winning plays.&nbsp;His play, <em>Lyhyt episodi sienisivilisaation universaalissa historiassa, </em>was recently presented (February 2023) at Espoo Kaupunginteatteri with Klockriketeater.</p><br><p>In this episode, Mikhail and Alex spoke about how to overcome the challenges of language and cultural differences in art-making, the therapeutic function of art, how art can show us the possible consequences of our choices, and how to learn from art you might not like.
