Back in 2018 I hit a new decade, (my sixties) I have always been intrigued with decades and for the last four of them sought God for what they might hold.

A few things happened at that time to get me studying the big audacious prayers in the Bible where the words are not recorded. Daniels’s prayer that changed the course of a nation. Elijah’s prayer that changed the course of nature. Jesus’ prayer in the garden that changed the course of history. All but a few words, we read nothing of what they prayed. This led me into a whole new world of prayer that I’d never before known in fifty years as a believer. I’m looking forward to talking to you about it!

Fu was also a house church leader in Beijing until he and his wife, Heidi, were imprisoned for “illegal evangelism” in 1996. Pastor Tandin, Bhutan joins us under the auspices of Release InternationalTandin has worked with the persecuted church and served as a pastor of a house church in Bhutan. He was arrested, sentenced and imprisoned in 2014. He earned his Master of Divinity from the International Graduate School of Leadership in 2008 and currently pursuing his Doctorate at Asia Pacific Theology Seminary, Baguio Philippines. Tandin continues to serve God in Bhutan and is involved in church planting, leadership and discipleship training in partnership with Release International. This evening we will hear something about his life from Ian Wilson and then we will hear from two modern day missionaries working in Europe – Philip Moore from France and Alan Taylor from Italy. Since 2008 she has been based in London with her husband, Amir, and together they minister amongst Muslims from an Iranian, Afghan and Tajik background. They have a young son called Jalal.Suma has been with FEBA for 34 years and currently leads the work in North India and worships at a Methodist Church in Bangalore. She is a Science graduate and has developed her communication skills at FEBA. She is married with two sons.

Margaret and her husband have been working in North Africa for a humanitarian medical and healthcare NGO for the last four and a half years, working in close partnership with local NGO's who have a heart for the poor and disabled.Angelina graduated as a nurse and also has qualified as a teacher in China, a director of kindergartens and principal of elementary schools. She was borin again in 1994. In 2001 she went to study at Chin Lien Bible Seminary of Singapore and came back to China in 2002. In May 2012, they moved to Texas in the US due to religious persecution.
