We revert to our hatred of Marrickville, and the girlies all settle the score on short kings forever like adults. The Banshees are joined this week by Juliet Timmerman and Tim Dunk, founding and only members of sketch comedy powerhouse "The Estate". Their hills are "Victor Frankenstein made a big mistake" and "comedy is over" (iconic because they're both comedians.) This week we're joined by our most manipulative guest yet - director, writer, and producer Jayden Rathsam-Hua. His hills include: the Sphynx is probably smaller than you think (vibe based), 101 reasons why Power Wash Simulator is a great game for productivity, panoptic women are superior, an innovative fourth Facebook event response, introducing "sexy anime" as an Oscars category is essential for representation and sperm have to have bones because how else would they get there. Sophie loses it over people not being able to "deal with the truth" and Nicola loses everything full stop.

The Banshees are coming in hot with our first episode of 2024. We discuss the legal trouble we're currently in with the Inner West council, New Years resolutions, how Nicola is going to heal herself with the power of sobriety and vulnerability, and how Sophie intends to compete in and win the Olympics (for France). Hills at the end include some important discourse about missionary sex with well-structured arguments and no yelling.

The banshees are solo this week after spending the last 7 days in the depths of hell that is Influenza A. Sophie thinks it was bird flu but it wasn't. This week we pulled some hills from Reddit which made us upset. To balance out that cesspit we got a few hills from our listener, Maddy and we also do a cute segment at the end where we talk about the opposite of icks (when you feel yourself actually liking someone for the first time, we called them "yums" on pod but we've decided to go with "aws"). It's a tight 45, have fun with it I don't care.

The Banshees are joined by FBI's most wanted and screenwriting boy genius Damien Higganbotham, who finally diagnoses Nic & Sophie with Beautiful Princess Disorder. Damien's mountain ranges vary from: anyone who plays loud music in public is on the side of the oppressor, don't sit down at the dog park (if you don't want to be molested by his cavoodle) and a series of perfect rapid-fire hills. This week's ep includes a special guest phone call with enemy of the pod, Riley Jones, who has a truly disturbing new hill. Sophie laments an awkward encounter at lifeguard training and Nicola laments a career in Irish dancing down the drain.

We also get earnest this week and discuss social media's role in the Gaza crisis, and what more we could be doing with our voices and our wallets.
