Jeff Sessions: Hello, my name if Jeff. Jeff Sessions. Would you like a chocolate?

Leslie: No, thank you.

Jeff Sessions: Alright, well, I’m gonna have one. I’m the Attorney General of the whole United States. I got to meet the president and everything. He shook my hand like this. [shows how he shook his hand] Being in the government is so fun. Have you ever been in it?

Leslie: No, never.

Jeff Sessions: Alright. We meet so many nice people. Like this. [showing her a picture] This is my best good friend Kellyanne. She ain’t got no legs. Why you ain’t got no legs, Kellyanne? We’re about as close as pease and carrots. She’s a best talker you ever heard. They say she could sell stink to a skink. But they don’t let her talk anymore. I miss you Kelly. You sure you don’t want chocolate? [Leslie shakes her head] I always say, life is like a box of chocolate. Sure are a whole lot of brown ones in there.

[Jeff Sessions takes one chocolate out and eats it staring at Leslie]

Leslie: No!

[Leslie stands and takes a bus]

Jeff Sessions: Alright, have a good day.

[Kyle sits beside Jeff Sessions]

I was in the cover of “The New York Times.” You wanna see?

Kyle: It says you might have committed perjury.

Jeff Sessions: Yeah. I had a bad week. Started out real good. President made a great speech. Folks were thrilled on the account of it was real word on a roll for a whole hour. We was all as happy as monkey with a peanut machine. Then I went to bed, I got 800 messages and phone alerts saying I was a sneaky little liar. I didn’t know what to do. So my lawyer said, “Run, Jeffy, run.” And I started running and running. I ended up all the way sitting at this bus stop with you.

Kyle: Well, it’s a nice day for that.

Jeff Sessions: Hmm. This whole mess began with a congressional hearing. This senator from up north started asking me all these question about Russian, on if I ever talked to them. I got so nervous and confused. I got about as worked up as a double donged piggy in a room full of sows. So I said, “No, I never talked to no Russians ever.” That’s all I got to say about that.

[a bus passes by. Now Aidy is sitting beside Jeff Sessions]

I talked to the Russians. Twice. You know, I met with a fellow who turned out to be Russian on the account of he was the Russian ambassador. His name was Sergie Kisleya. Now, I remember any name with the words ‘gay kiss’ in it. But I was the only one who talked to the Russians. Well, me and Michael Flynn. And J.D. GORDON. So it’s just me, Michael Flynn and J.D. Gordon. And Jared Kushner at Trump Tower. So, me, Michael Flynn, J.D. Gordon and Jared Kushner at Trump Tower. And Carter Page. And that’s all I got to say about that. And Paul Manifort. I’m gonna have another one of these chocolates.

Background

The production was finished in 1981, and in 2006 the film was voted as one of the most popular domestic animations. Numerous novels and publications have been released under the same name in the past. The story, characters and contents are based on the ancient Chinese folklore story collection Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio.

Plot

A long time ago, there was a young man called Wang Qi. When he heard that there were many immortals in Lao Mountain, he went there at once. There was a Taoist who still looked young although he was very old. Wang Qi became one of his pupils. During the first month, Wang Qi went to the hills for woods with others every day and listened to the instructions of his teacher patiently. In the second month, he felt that he could not stand the hard and tiring life, but he still waited for the teacher to teach him the magical skills. In the third month, he could not bear the suffering any longer. Upon requests, the Taoist taught Wang Qi the incantations to recite for walking through walls.[1]

DY Suharya is the founder of Alzheimer’s Indonesia and the regional director of Alzheimer’s Disease International for the Asia Pacific Region. When her mother was diagnosed with dementia, Suharya became her caregiver. Today, she’s raising awareness for dementia and improving quality of life for both patients and their caregivers.

Tonight, Suharya shares her Brief But Spectacular take on memory loss and healthy aging.

DY Suharya, Founder of Alzheimer’s Indonesia:

My mom’s favorite song is You Are My Sunshine my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies gray. You never know dear how much I love you. Please don’t take my sunshine away. My mom was diagnosed with dementia. But whenever we sing that song, she will clap her hands. Her body will move and she’s alive.

I grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. I’m the youngest in the family and I have a very strong bonding with my mom. When my mom was diagnosed with dementia. My dad called me. I was pursuing my Ph.D. in Australia and I had to choose between pursuing a Ph.D. or my mom. I went back home. I became a full-time caregiver. I felt so lucky to have the opportunity to take care of her before she passed away.

I think it was an early grieving without knowing that that’s grieving. The misconception is dementia is a normal part of aging. It is not a normal part of aging at all. Dementia is a neurodegenerative disease affecting memory, executive decision and other brain function. There is no cure yet. So we need to focus on providing high quality care.

When I’ve decided to take up the role as a caregiver in my family together with my dad. It’s a full-time job that’s affecting not only the person with dementia, but also the entire family, burn out is one of the highest problem on caregivers which led me to establish Alzheimer’s Indonesia. Alzheimer’s Indonesia aims to improve quality life of people with dementia and family caregivers. The focus is on living positively. Not focusing on what they cannot do, focusing on what they can do. Involve them, ask them to participate, be a part of a community.

I’d like to see a dementia-friendly and aging-friendly society. I think people in general might think that being old is frail, weak, isolated, lonely, but at the end of the day, it’s just the mindset. I don’t think of growing old, I think of evolving, I think of contributing. And I thank my mom for giving me this opportunity through her disease to help other families so they can navigate their journey of caring. 【BBC時事一周（粵語）——記者來鴻】緊握巴爾幹半島亞得裏亞海咽喉的黑山共和國（Montenegro）有一條路，被稱為「歐洲最昂貴的瀝青路」。

這全長 170 公里高速公路將連接該國主要港口和北部的鄰國塞爾維亞（Serbia）。2014 年，黑山政府與一家中國國有企業簽合同，建設首42公里的瀝青路，標價大約10億歐元（11.32億美元；88.32億港元；71.58億元人民幣），其中大部分貸款來自一間中國的銀行。

該項目備受爭議，但人口60萬的黑山有很多人盼望這條高速公路能促進經濟前景。

BBC記者琳達·普雷斯利（Linda Pressly）在當地遇到一些支持者和反對者。

It’s been called the priciest piece of tarmac in the world. In 2014 the government of Montenegro signed a contract with a state-owned Chinese company to build part of a 170 kilometre-long highway – a road that would connect its main port with the Serbian border to the north. The price-tag on the first 42 kilometres of asphalt was a staggering $1 billion - most of which has been borrowed from a Chinese bank. In Montenegro, questions continue to be asked about why the project went ahead when some experts said that it was not viable. The River Tara – a UNESCO protected site – has been impacted by the building works, and allegations of corruption and kickbacks have hung around like a bad smell. Meanwhile, the economy has taken a massive hit as a result of the pandemic, and some Montenegrins worry about the country's ability to repay the loan. Worse still, a clause in the road contract states that Montenegro may relinquish sovereignty over unspecified parts of its territory if there is a default. But is everything as it seems? Assignment investigates.

Here’s a puzzle: what cost nearly a billion pounds, has not been finished, and will not do what it was designed for any time soon? The answer is a new road in Montenegro. It was supposed to link the country’s main port to Montenegro’s neighbor, Serbia, encouraging valuable cargo to the country. However, the project is already two years late, and so far, this road to the sea does not actually reach the sea stopping way short. Chinese money is involved, along with Montenegrin politicians past and present, and some allege corruption behind what Linda Pressly says is fast becoming another Balkan scandal.

This year's surprise international television success is the dystopian South Korean series, Squid Game, which imagines people competing in a series of ever more violent contests, hundreds dying along the way. The show is a shameless satire on the cut-throat competitiveness of ordinary South Korean life; some characters explicitly state they are taking part in the tournament because it is no worse than how they were living anyway. When Chloe Hadjimatheou went to South Korea recently, she could see what the programme’s creators were getting at.

香港網絡短片創作團隊「@trialanderror924 」自2020年10月營運至今，其影片兼具幽默、諷刺和隱喻而別具一格，甚得年輕一代歡迎。《係咁先啦》以80年代風格的音樂為背景，表面上講述離開派對的掙扎，但這種「留低VS離開」的抉擇，隱喻了香港的移民潮，在YouTube觀看次數已逾300萬。

《國安法》下，香港的創作人迴避政治表態，在政權默許的範圍內創作，似乎是新常態。「試當真」團隊雖然擔心自己的創作空間會有所限制，或作品會觸犯一些法例，但他們相信創作的本質就是和觀眾進行一場「優美的精神交流」，就算難都值得挑戰。這也是「試當真」想繼續的創作方向。

The zone is planned to be an expansive area, with plans to connect it to the rest of mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau through various infrastructure projects.

This area also aims to be a hub for various industries, such as finance, tourism, and technology. The goal is to promote economic diversification and to develop new industries in the area, with a particular focus on technology and innovation. In addition, Hengqin is expected to play a critical role in the development of the Greater Bay Area, which is a national development plan that aims to connect the cities of Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangzhou into a single economic and business hub.

“Macau’s financial institutions can also benefit from the development of Hengqin as an international financial center, particularly with its planned development as a hub for trade and investment between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, which could further increase investment opportunities for Macau financial institutions.”

Elon Musk: There’s a back up O2 circulator outside of the habitat. One of them just needs to turn it on.

Melissa: The radiation levels outside are too high. It would be a suicide mission.

Mitchen: Sir, one of the colonist has volunteered. He’s on box now.

Elon Musk: So, there are still heroes in this world. Hello, who am I speaking to?

Chad: Chad!

Elon Musk: Chad, this is Elon Musk.

Chad: Who?

Elon Musk: Elon Musk. I’m in charge of the whole Mars colonization project.

Chad: Oh, congrats.

Elon Musk: Chad, I want to make sure that you understand you won’t survive this mission.

Chad: Okay.

Elon Musk: To save your fellow colonists, you have to make ultimate sacrifice.

Chad: Ha-ha, sack.

Mitchen: Chad, this is Mitchen with ground command. Make your way to the airlock and begin exit procedures.

Chad: Okay.

[Chad wears the suit and walks towards the exit door. Miley walks to him.]

Miley: Chad. Aren’t you gonna say goodbye?

Chad: Bye!

Miley: Chad, I’ll always cherish what we’ve had together.

Chad: Okay.

Miley: Oh god, I wish we could make love just one last time.

Chad: Sick.

Miley: But we can’t.

In Japan if you want to disappear from your life you can just pick up the phone and a "night moving company" will turn you into one of the country’s "johatsu" - it literally means "evaporated people". Meet those who have chosen to disappear and the people left behind.

Each year, some choose to 'disappear' and abandon their lives, jobs, homes and families. In Japan, there are companies that can help those looking to escape into thin air.

In Japan, the Johatsu, literally "evaporated people", choose to abandon their current lives - due to family strain, work pressure or any other reason. So-called 'night moving' companies help them disappear without a trace and start a new life somewhere else.

Loved ones can be left searching for answers. We meet private investigator Kudou Katsunori as he goes on the hunt for an elderly man who left his wife one day and never came back.

This is part of the Rulebreakers series from BBC World Service in collaboration with Sundance Institute, in which we look at those who challenge the established ways of doing things.

「那時候Prince Philip還沒成為親王……她們認識他的時候，跟其他軍官沒分別。」李敏婷如此回憶外婆和幾位姨婆、姑婆初次見到愛丁堡公爵菲利普親王（Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh）的經歷。那是她自小就聽著這些長輩說的故事之一。

1959年，菲利普親王重臨香港，專門托人尋回李敏婷外婆等人敘舊。

「她們也沒說特別興奮……很淡然，『哦，原來是你啊！』這樣。」

這段聽著淡淡然的「家珍」，卻是親王首次接觸香港這座城市的見證。

Chad: Okay.

Chad: Kind of.

Mr. Buckley: [looking at the ceiling] Argh! You can of course leave at any time you wish and spare yourself my ramblings. Though, I have to admit having an ear to bend makes a welcome–[door closing sound] [Mr. Buckley looks around. Chad isn’t there.]

歐洲主要足球聯賽一度暫停，最終要改變模式，大部分在無觀眾的情況下完成球季。

兩名分別是籃球和足球界的體壇巨星，高比拜仁及馬勒當拿，都於今年離世。

新型肺炎疫情重創環球經濟，本港首季經濟創有紀錄以來最大跌幅，政府預計全年經濟負增長6.1%。

國泰等企業裁員，失業率突破6%，創2003年沙士後新高。政府推出保就業計劃紓緩失業情況，連同其他抗疫防疫措施，投入逾3000億元，佔本地生產總值11%，預計本年度財政赤字將擴大至逾3000億元的歷史新高。

疫情下金融市場顯著波動，但無礙美股接連創新高，港股就備受壓力。聯儲局連續減息救經濟，低息環境令本港樓價有支持。

年內多隻中概股到香港第二上市。不過，螞蟻集團A+H股集資2700億元，上市前夕被叫停。

疫情下示威浪潮減退，中央在本年中出手，制定《香港國安法》並在港實施。直至本月中，40人涉嫌違反《香港國安法》被捕。政府認為，《香港國安法》的實施，令香港由亂轉治。憂慮香港前景，有人計劃移民，有人決定流亡海外。

立法會選舉因疫情延後，4名立法會議員被取消資格，民主派首次集體總辭，議會進入新格局。

人類與新型冠狀病毒苦戰一年，過百萬人喪命，這場「抗疫戰」近期終於露出一線曙光，多個國家在疫苗研發方面傳出喜訊，部分國家已率先為國民注射，但距離全民接種仍言之尚早。

疫情改變人類的生活模式，在家工作或學習成為新常態，各行各業大受打擊。各地政府在維持或放寬防疫限制措施之間掙扎，民眾已出現抗疫疲勞。

中美因疫情責任、人權、香港及敏感科技等議題，針鋒相對。美方針對《香港國安法》推出一系列措施；英國就為香港人提供成為英國公民的新途徑。中方多次批評美英兩國，明目張膽並粗暴干涉中國內政與香港事務。

美國選舉人團正式確認民主黨的拜登，擊敗爭取連任的特朗普，當選總統。外界觀望拜登入主白宮後的中美關係走向，亦關注美國如何與歐洲等盟友修補關係。不過特朗普在大選後，一直無正式認輸，並試圖透過選舉訴訟翻盤，但黨友都承認成功機會愈來愈渺茫。

2020年初，新型肺炎疫情由武漢爆發，迅速蔓延至多個省份。吹哨人、眼科醫生李文亮病逝；武漢歷史性封城76日後才解封。內地經濟、民生活動，年初幾近癱瘓。

隨著疫情逐漸緩和，經濟活動恢復，國內GDP由首季負數到之後已回復正增長。國家主席習近平提倡「國內國際雙循環」經濟概念，推動經濟動力。

不過，疫情同時輻射至全球，動搖中國與歐、美多國關係，尤其美國，早已經受貿易戰影響的中美關係，進一步陷入低谷。

在台灣，蔡英文總統今年初以創歷屆新高票數，成功連任，擊敗政治彗星、藍營的韓國瑜。她亦藉口罩外交，開拓國際空間，但大陸強調不容許台灣「以疫謀獨」。美國今年內多次對台售武，海峽兩岸軍演頻繁，令台海籠罩陰霾。

Yeah let's go pick on him. Yeah!

Stan enters into frame and starts overacting just as badly.

STAN

Hey guys! GUYS! Don't pick on

Butters! That's not cool!

Stan leads Red and Clyde up the steps towards the school

doors.

STAN

You can't do that! Bullying?! Did

you know that in America - oh hoh -

over two hundred THOUSAND students

EVERY DAY are afraid to come to

school because of bullying?

They go inside the school doors -

STAN

At South Park Elementary we're

better than that. Come on, Let's

all put an END to bullying. RIGHT

NOW! A five six seven eight!

The camera spins around from the front doors and into the

school. Stan steps back in front of the camera and starts

singing. Other kids take turns lipsyncing to the music as

the camera follows them through the school.

修訂《逃犯條例》爭議觸發示威浪潮，過百萬人多次上街，政府初期不肯撤回修例，抗爭越演越烈。7.1、7.21、8.31、10.1等多個日子，爆發激烈警民衝突，警方至今施放超過16000枚催淚彈，為開埠以來前所未見，至今逾6000人被捕。

政府9月正式宣布撤回修例，但事件焦點已經轉為追究警暴及質疑警黑合作。

修例風波同時影響區議會選舉，破紀錄有近300萬選民投票，民主派大勝，建制派重創，區議會政治版圖重新洗牌。

在台灣，明年初總統大選，「綠地」會否變「藍天」將於下月11日揭盅。多次評論香港反修例事件的民進黨蔡英文，民望回升競逐連任，迎戰國民黨韓國瑜，以及6度參選的親民黨主席宋楚瑜。

六四事件30周年，時任總理李鵬病逝，獲官方高度評價。至於時任中共總書記趙紫陽的骨灰，去世近15年後安葬民間墓地。

港鐵沙中綫工程安全質素面對連番質疑，觸發港鐵管理層「大地震」，有高層要提早退休或離職。

佔中案3名發起人及另外6名被告案件正式開審。另一邊廂，前特首梁振英收取澳洲公司UGL款項一事，律政司決定不提起訴。

Kenan: He talking about all they need to send is a bare minimum to keep us alive.

Years after the collapse of the USSR, Cuba remains a bastion of communism, central planning... and shortages of basic goods. Anyone returning from a trip abroad therefore takes as many of these as they can carry - even if they are flying from Moscow.

Sarah Rainsford lived for a while in Russia before glasnost and remembers the days of long lines, endless shortages, and central planning during its Communist era. Who would have guessed that she'd wind up working in Havana - and now looks on a trip to Moscow as a chance to stock up on the household essentials? For while Cuba still has few retail outlets which aren't run by the State, and goods are still hard to find, Russia's shaken off most of its Soviet-era controls - and some people now see shopping as a way to have fun.

Announcer: Hello, Lawsuit.

[ cut to the same scene as before, only now with the confident and assured Greg approaching Lisa ]

Announcer: Now, here’s the right way:

Greg: Hey, Lisa. You look pretty hot today. Maybe we should have lunch sometime.

Lisa: [ caught off guard, but pleased ] Oh. Well, great.

Greg: How about tomorrow?

Lisa: Okay!

Greg: Great! See you then! [ squeezes Lisa’s left breast before he exits ]

Announcer: Well done! Okay, let’s review.

[ show close-up of nervous Frank making his pitch ]

Announcer: Frank was awkward, and a little too pushy.

Air Hostess: Oh my god! You’re Sully Sullenberger.

Sully: Um-hmm.

Air Hostess: You landed that plane in the Hudson river. You saved all those people’s lives.

Sully: Yeah, well, I guess I did what I had to do.

Air Hostess: I didn’t know you were flying again.

Sully: Yeah, I took some time off to write a book. But, um, I’m ready to get back to just being a captain again.

Air Hostess: Well, it’s an honor sir. Let me know if you need anything at all.

Sully: Thank you much.

[Hubbard walks in and Air Hostess walks out]

Hubbard: Howdy there?

Sully: Morning, come on in. [not looking at Hubbard]

Hubbard: Whoops, I’m sorry. I think I’m in that seat.

Sully: What’s that? The captain’s chair?

Hubbard: Yeah, I’m sorry. I think according to the rotation sheet, I’m the captain on this route.

Sully: [talking to the management] Tower, this is American 809. Looks like we got ity-bity typo on our rotation sheet. Can you confirm our captain roster please?

Male voice: Copy 809, we have captain Doug, um, Hubbard as first in command.

Sully: Um, tower, this is American 809, I’m Sully.

Male voice: Come again, 809?

Sully: I am Sully. Sully. Miracle on the Hudson? So?

Male voice: Copy. You haven’t flown in a while Sullenberger. So, FAA requires 18 hours as second in command. You will be assisting captain Hubbard today.

Sully: Well, to-to-tower? Tower? Well, right!

[Sully leaves the seat for Hubbard. they seat in their seats. Sully is very disappointed.]

Hubbard: Tower, this is 809. We’re fueled up and ready for pre-check.

Male voice: Copy that captain. We’ve got you on runway two-two.

Hubbard: Runway two-two. Copy.

Sully: Runway two-two. Copy.

[Hubbard looks at Sully]

Hubbard: Well, I was about to.

I was on the golf course this morning with some business associates and we were exchanging business cards and I must have given one of the guys my driver's license by mistake. China's 'love hunters' seek brides for picky billionaires

China is moving forwards at an astonishing rate, but parents' preference for boys and the one-child policy have left a shortage of young women. Men of marriageable age are confronted by a shrinking pool of potential female partners - and the competition to find a bride is fierce.

Clutching his iced coffee, Peng Tai strolls down the street and disappears into a shopping mall.

Half way up the escalator, he surveys the scene below.

"What about that girl in a yellow dress?" I venture. "Uh uh, too short," he says.

And the girl in micro shorts coming out of a shoe shop? "No way. Too skinny."

"I am looking for girls with nice skin, nice white skin," he adds. "They should be not too thin and not too chunky with a normal way of walking."

A minute later he sidles up to a fashionable twentysomething girl trying on perfumes.

"Are you single?" he coos. "Looking for love?" She quickly shakes her head and walks away.

He gets the same brush-off from a few more young women - some look embarrassed, others impatient.

Peng Tai rejoins me by the entrance and sucks dejectedly on his drink. "The girls should not look angry. We do not want one with a sour face."

Suddenly he spots his prey - a very young girl in a sleeveless top with platform heels.

Cautiously he approaches her, all smiles. She listens wide-eyed to his opening gambit and looks intrigued as he takes down her details.

Then, iPhone in hand, he moves in for the kill and snaps her picture in the doorway of the mall.

Peng Tai has a quota of three suitable girls a day. He is what is known as a "love hunter".

He works for the Diamond Bachelors' Agency, a Shanghai outfit which has hundreds of wealthy single men looking for wives on its books. The joining fees range from £15,000 to more than £1m ($1.6m) a year depending on the level of service required.

Peng Tai and dozens like him remind me of small fishing trawlers, scooping up what they can in their nets.

But their catch then needs to be specially prepared for the customer and China's billionaires are a notoriously fussy bunch.

One client insisted on a girl who looked identical to Zhang Ziyi, the star of the hit film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Another, a real estate tycoon, paid the agency to search nine cities and interview 10,000 girls to find Miss Right.

Of course she had to be stunning. But she also had to be between 22 and 24 years of age and have a master's degree from one of the top universities in Beijing or Shanghai.

Peng Tai's work is performance-related but the rewards can be huge. The top love hunters can earn bonuses worth tens of thousands of pounds.

But I wonder if he ever worries about treating women as commodities?

"I do not care what the girls think," he says. "This is my job and we are providing a much-needed service."

While China's wealthiest men contract out the search for a spouse and have plenty of choice, at the opposite end of the scale some have no choice at all.

The country's inexorable economic rise has put marriage out of reach for many men.

These days grooms are expected to provide a car, a good salary and real estate.

One young engineer I met in a Beijing park, Zhang Junfei, told me that he would have to save up for 200 years to afford a one-bedroom apartment - and that is without eating or drinking.
