惠澤教授長期研究遊戲學習，並提出「微翻轉遊戲式學習模式」，翻開教授著有的『遊戲式學習：啟動自學Ｘ喜樂協作，一起玩中學！』，可更深入了解如何運用20分鐘內的小遊戲和學習者互動，有效引起自主學習動機。在實務方面，教授積極於中小學、機構推廣遊戲式學習，已有超過20個的產學計畫，其中的5項教育桌遊已經成功商品化，並有兩款桌游多次榮登博客來網該類別產品單日銷售總冠軍。

In this episode we are going to deep dive into how to infuse social emotional learning into your classroom. Today, we are really honored to have Wendy Turner joining us.

Wendy is a 2nd grade teacher and 2017 Delaware Teacher of the Year. She teaches at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School, a large suburban school in Delaware, with over 750 students and a diverse population. Wendy is interested in trauma-informed practices, global education, social-emotional learning, and empathy in education, and she loves every moment spent with her seven- and eight-year-olds.

Starr Sackstein has been an educator since 2001 and left her role as the director of humanities in the West Hempstead Union Free School District to become a full-time consultant with the Core Collaborative. Starr was named an ASCD "Emerging Leader" class of 2016 and gave a TEDx Talk called "A Recovering Perfectionist's Journey to Give Up Grades." 

She has authored many books for teachers. For example , Teaching Students to Self-Assess,  Hacking Assessment: 10 Ways to Go Gradeless in a Traditional Grades School, Peer Feedback in the Classroom and the list goes on. Starr has traveled the world sharing ideas about assessment reform in Dubai and South Korea and is hoping to continue changing the system for kids everywhere.

Elisa Guerra is the founder and teacher at Colegio Valle de Filadelfia . It is a school for (PreK -9th), helping students achieve their fullest potential. Her school model has been replicated in 11 campuses and 5 Latin American countries. She was one of the  TOP50 finalists for the GLOBAL TEACHER PRIZE  in both 2015 and 2016. This award has been called the “Nobel Prize” for Teaching.

Elisa has authored many great books for teaching. For example,   "Learning to read at 3: Doman Method applied in the Preschool Classroom" . This book has been, consistently, first placed in sales in Amazon Mexico.  The most recent book of hers is Hope where are you? is the story of six children around the world who are experiencing school closures because of the pandemic. The book is free and has more than 30 languages.

We are lucky to have Ilona Taimela joining us who is specialised in Phenomenon based learning, design thinking, participatory processes and sustainability. 

Ilona has an over 25 years of experience from training teachers in Finland nationwide and now more internationally. 

She is the CEO of Helsinki Education Consulting Group. She provides consulting services to cities and schools in implementing the new Finnish National Curriculum with her long experience from being a classroom and subject teacher, a university researcher, to an executive director and an administrator. She is no doubt an engaging, energising and a sought after speaker.

玟樺老師的研究也受到許多肯定。她的博士論文「立體學習地景——芬蘭赫爾辛基一間學校的現象為本學習」，榮獲 108學年度賈馥茗教授教育基金會博士學位論文優良獎、108學年度田培林教授博士學位論文優良獎，是年度唯一雙料冠軍！

Maarit Rossi was a Finnish Math teacher and principal. She is one of the top 10 finalists in Global Teacher Prize 2016. Maarit is driven to prove that math is not boring but stimulating and meaningful; Her students often learn outside the classroom by taking unconventional approaches to real-life problems.

She has authored nine Math text books, several pedagogic articles and publications.

Besides lecturing and training teachers around the world, she is also the CEO of Paths to Math. “Paths to Math” is an e-Learning Math material that helps teachers to build an innovative, challenging and student centered learning environment for the grades 6 to 9.

Dr. Jennifer Pieratt holds a PhD in Educational Philosophy, with an emphasis in Project Based Learning. She is an accomplished author and sought-after speaker on the topic of PBL. Previously Jenny was a classroom teacher at High Tech High, an organization that operates sixteen schools in San Diego County. She is also a former School Development Coach for New Tech Network and National Faculty at Buck Institute for Education. 

Jenny now is the founder of CraftedEd and is doing tons of coaching and consulting to administrators and teachers across the US and abroad. You can learn more about her approach to PBL in her award-nominated books:  Keep it Real with PBL (elementary + secondary)

擔任教職已經二十多年的黃博士，深諳班級經營與學生輔導工作，熟知如何建立學生和家長、家長和學校之間的橋樑。

黃博士也是三本書的作家:「十堂課變乖小孩」, 「變色龍教育」和有聲書:「從青春風暴走入青春風采」，這些著作汲取黃博士二十多年教學生涯當中，遇到的教學案例、如何與家長合作和引領孩子， 達到最後的雙贏。

近年來，黃博士在臺灣、馬來西亞、歐洲和中國大陸舉辦多場教育座談 ，希望能把自己對教育多年的理想和經驗，抽絲剝繭地分享給家長和教師。

She's also the author of two books, Inspired by Listening and Studio Days. Inspired by Listening is a teacher resource book that includes method of music integration she has developed and implemented into her own classroom. And Studio Days is filled with information and Common Core aligned lesson plans for bringing creativity into the classroom. Elizabeth prides herself in teaching workshops and courses on the integration of the arts into the curriculum and is the host of the annual Summer and Winter Teacher Art Retreats.

She believes there's a love of acting integrating learning in all children and from their enthusiasm, teachers can shape great opportunities to learn.

When Barbie just got out of school, she worked on marketing for few years but it didn’t feel right for her. So she decided to try teaching given her innate love for kids.  After some observation hours on campus, she immediately knew it is the home for her.  Today in our conversation, we are gonna talk about how teachers can do to understand their kids more and what cross curricula teaching looks like.

Her first stop as a teacher is in New York City Department of Education. She Instructed suspended students or at-risk youth from diverse schools and socio-economic backgrounds. This unique experience laid out the foundation for building humanity and resilience in her teachings.

After NYC, Nicole moved to bay area and taught in Corpus Christi school which is hugely different from her pervious one. It is a Catholic school that nurtures students not only academic but also spiritual growth.
