Learn from Barry's unique perspective and listen to him dive deep on the issues plaguing today's society (unfortunately some of the same issues we dealt with decades ago), and how he sees hope on the horizon for change into the future. Barry's humility is rivaled only by his kind heart as he pours out positivity in today's evermore difficult societal minefield.

Dr. Mike Godard proudly serves as the 13th President of Indiana State University, bringing over 25 years of higher education leadership. His distinguished career spans multiple pivotal roles, from dedicated faculty member to department chair, vice provost, and most recently, provost.

On today's episode, we had the immense pleasure and honor to bring in the 13th president of Indiana State University! Dr. Mike Godard, as busy as he is, was gracious enough to sit down with us and discuss the man behind the Sycamore symbol. Mike credits much of his success to the proper mentors being put onto his path at the perfect times. He emphasizes the importance of making the best of the path you are on, while being cognizant of unanticipated opportunities and taking advantage of said opportunities. Dr. Mike Godard is the embodiment of "life is what you make it," and his efforts are consistently rooted in his ability to raise the ships around him. While we only scratched the surface, this abbreviated episode gives great insight to the man Mike is, and how his influence on Indiana State University will be immediate and long standing.
