Habitual Behavior and Performance

We’re always asked as performers about pre show rituals/ routines/ mental health so what is it performers habitually do to maintain or advance their careers . This is something that takes a while to master, or comprehend because its performer to performer based, and ever changing.

To start what is the definition of habitual “done or doing constantly or as a habit.” The definition of habitual behavior is “behavior that is displayed automatically on the presence of a goal, that is, a direct goal–action link that is not preceded by consciously developed intentions” that’s a very wordy way of differentiating that habit when placed action to becomes automatic with a goal in mind, habit is 95 % of our daily action, for example putting your seatbelt on.
