Ride Cymbals Are Too Thick

Not only was Tucker the drummer for New Jersey post-hardcore band Thursday, he is now also the drummer for supergroup L.S. Dunes who head off on a US tour this week. Made up of members of Thursday, My Chemical Romance, Coheed & Cambria and Circa Survive, they formed during the pandemic. Their second album ‘Violet’ was released in January 2025. We chat about prepping for tour, recording the new album, and playing live. We also talk about Thursday and their rise from the basements of New Jersey to major label success. Having moved down from Yorkshire to London to study at the Royal Academy of Music, Bob decided to take bookings into his own hands and soon started providing musicians for tours, TV appearances and recordings all round the UK and further afield. I Had A Wee Next To Superman (Will Daly)
