Gwen then takes the mic and doesn't stop as she goes through the wonder of Girl Guides and why she likes it so much. Crofton doesn't know where she gets her mic energy. D&D 42 – B is for Boy, but K is for Kombat

Ryan and Crofton return to report back on their slow re-introduction to school during these COVID-19 times. Tune in next episode when they have a few weeks under their belt to see how things went! Ryan introduces this years promo for Extra Life, and should be a lot of fun content for the show and torture for Ryan as he is forced to digest even more Children's programming. In the Dungeons, Crofton has been enjoying Umbrella Academy Season 2 and Rita on Netflix, while Ryan gets his Avengers on in with the new PlayStation 4 game. In a bridge between the two segments, Ryan is forced to admit that Crofton is mostly right, as the new God of War book "B is for Boy" is more satirical than actual kids book (about 90% of it is FINE for kids, just need to do a little self sensor and skip a page or two). In the Diapers, Crofton has been thoroughly enjoying Child of Light as the follow up to Paper Mario The Origami King with Gwen. Ryan, not wanting the Paper Mario fun to end, dusts off the Wii U and picks up Paper Mario Color Splash. We close the show with Listener Feedback and Children's Book suggestions!

D&D 24 – Whatever a Spider Can

It is a dark day in the Spiderverse as Ryan and Crofton commiserate over the Sony/Disney split that takes their favourite wallcrawler out of the MCU (NOTE: There are a few spoilers for Far From Home, including the post-credits cameo). Crofton then goes fully Spider-mad and falls into a replay of Spider-Man on PS4 and a rewatch of Spider-Man Homecoming... to say nothing of the imaginary Spider-Man playing his daughter is requested. D&D 11 – Resident Evil: Kindergarten

The winter chill continues to tighten its noose around Ryan and Crofton and their families and the boys begin to plan their escapes.. both from the cold and the hordes of face-biting zombies in Resident Evil. Crofton continues to sail the sunny seas of Hyrule with his daughter in the Windwaker while Ryan tests the limits of technology to be the best husband ever (ie free up the tv). Crofton’s daughter tries skating for the very first time while Crofton himself tries Cross Code for the very first time - both monumental achievements! Last - but definitely not least - Ryan delivers a sermon from the mount in the face of the local Ontario government on the wonders of kindergarten and the importance of class sizes.

Crofton and Gwen take to the seas in The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker while Ryan and Kayden celebrate his third birthday (Kayden’s not Ryan’s). D&D 4 – Naps and Whine

Crofton and Ryan meander through a field of sterling parenting conversation tulips (baby names! Putting your kids on social media!) before diving deep into the dungeon to figure out if it is even possible to finish a video game as a parent of young kids. Ryan’s case study is Spider-Man and Shadow of the Tomb Raider while Crofton is again lured by the siren’s call of his old mistress… The Witcher 3 - this time with 100% more Blood and Wine. Also, Ryan faces the end of naps and Crofton embarks on his first kindergarten field trip. All of that and VR lightsabers too! Come drop your diapers and delve into our dungeons! What? My wife says that line isn’t any better.

Plus, stay for the first of what is assuredly many discussions about “screen time” for kids. How much is too much? Is all screen time the same? All of that and Super Mario Odyssey too!
