Chris Grooms is a highly experienced law enforcement officer who is currently the Chief of Police for the city of Ord, Nebraska. He also served as the Deputy Sheriff of Valley County Nebraska.

With a background that also includes many years of service in the U.S. Army, Chris brings a disciplined, strategic approach to public safety and the presence of drone activity.

He has witnessed and responded to 911 calls about drones and their activity in 2019, 2020, and 2023 through the present.

In this episode of EMERGENT, I’ll be sitting down with Rich Hoffman of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU) and Matt Szydagis of UAPX to explore the forefront of science and the unresolved mysteries surrounding unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and non-human intelligence (NHI).

Drawing on my interactions with people across 40 countries, I explore how engaging in open dialogue can prevent the UFO discourse from becoming insular and marginalized, avoiding the problem of tunneling into ever-narrowing theories and inadvertently contributing to obfuscation and fringe perceptions. I also examine the core shift in the UFO discourse toward public engagement and how we can break free from the UFO entertainment cycle to integrate the UFO topic into the larger framework of societal discourse.
