What is RMIT's Fashion Society and what do they do?

In this episode of Fashion Unfiltered, Louis and Charlotte chat with RMIT Fashion Society member Alexandra Graney and Pippa Malbarry.

The Fashion Society is a RUSU-affiliated club that provides fashion and fashion-interested students opportunities to get industry experience and make like-minded friends. Some events they've put on in the past include The Devil Wears Prada screenings, workshops, and matcha catch-ups.

Listen in to hear Alex and Pippa talk about the benefits of joining the club, some of their predictions and what is going on in the world of Brunswick Campus' fashion.

Creative direction and styling with Mia Romero

She's a wardrobe and prop stylist working across commercial advertising and fashion. Mia moved to Melbourne/Naarm from California seven years ago and has built her career across America and England, having lived and worked in London, New York and San Francisco. In this chat, Mia talks about her experience changing careers from the entertainment industry to the fashion industry and both the challenges and positives that come from a unique and dynamic role.

Lexi imparts her advice for breaking into the styling industry; wisdom that is pertinent for anyone wanting to work in fashion, and any creative industries.
