Myself and fellow Wooosh Gallerist Jamie Donald were asked by Cooper Gallery, to speak to the Student Curatorial Team about our art gallery in a car park, Wooosh Gallery.

A real institutional mashup!

Thanks to Peter Amoore of Cooper Gallery for hosting us and leading the conversation about our collaborative curatorial approach.

Thanks as well to the students for asking lots of great questions and listening to our mad opinions of art and organising!!!

and best of luck to all of them with all their future projects. :)

This was recorded in an art gallery so the sound is kind of echoey and there is the sound of a video installation playing in the background but I got sounding as good as possible.

I'm going to continue updating these episodes over the summer, and hope to catch up completely.

I've stopped recording everyday for now as I needed a break after my year at university.

I think when I return I will change to a weekly format.

I take a trip to visit my Grandma. Then I'm joined by my good friend, talented photographer/youth worker Ben Douglas aka. Burnt Bongo.

In this episode you can hear me reflecting on some problems I've had witht his project, and in retrospect, I think the answer was not to stop, just to alter the path a little. I was also feeling very exhausted at this point in time, which is perhaps why I felt relief in the idea of stopping. Also some good news about my student loan.

I talk street sweeping systems, forget to wear my glasses(!), and take the decision to stop recording daily.... (I change my mind two days later).

I remember that this day I was feeling really low on confidence in my practice and this was the result - thinking I should stop doing this thing and do something MORE worthwhile... instead of thinking about how I coul dmake what I'm doing more worthwhile in itself. Hindsight is 20/20 and over the following weekend I spoke to my close friends and they brought me back to earth.
