Though it's easy to take Indigenous Peoples' Day as just a day off from work or school, it's an opportunity for us to take steps to learn more about the land that we live on, and the people who have been sacrificed so that we can do so. A saying goes, "The second death is when someone says your name for the last time." It's our hope that by telling these stories, we can help right some of the wrongs.
