Ramirez committed a string of attrocities in the Los Angeles area between 1984-1985, often leaving images of the occult engraved on the scenes of his crimes as well as on some of his victims. Ramirez would often be seen throwing up the horns during his trial and admitted in later interviews to being a fan of Heavy Metal Music. Did Heavy Metal music play a factor in the nature and brutality of Ramirez's crimes?

Anton created parody covers of him crudely singing over 8 bit renditions of Iron Maiden classics in the late 1990's and became an overnight sensation in his home town of Hässleholm. Within days, Anton would be appearing in Newspapers, Television broadcasts and would go on to become Heavy Metal's first Internet Celebrity.

On this episode I discuss the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Ray Belknap and James Vance and the trial that followed. Following the suicide of Ray Belknap and the attempted suicide of James Vance, both parties families brought British Metal legends Judas Priest to court citing their music as an influence in the boys decision to take their own life. The families also claimed that Priest placed subliminal messages in their music and that this also contributed to the death of both men.

Throughout the interview, we touch on his introduction to music, his relationship with Gary Moore, his time working with Van Morrison, his thoughts on contemporary guitarists, how he's hoping during the global pandemic, his solo career, his memories of Phil Lynott and more.
